Xenomorphs are far from being the perfect organism. It's just David's and Ash's delusion. Xenomorphs are not creative, they can't create things that are useful. And they are easily wasted by standard military rifles, they can't regenerate lost limbs etc. Dumb and incomplete AI's such as David and Ash think Xenomorphs are perfect, because those 2 are also can't create things.

I disagree, it has no moral constraints true, but this doesn’t make it a perfect organism. It’s just a trait they have. The androids are wrong, it is not perfect as it always loses in every movie. The movies show that it’s close to perfect but its flaws cause it to never succeed.

I'm appalled by the comments repeating that the movie would have been so much better if the mysterious progenitor (who was abruptly awoken by creatures it despises) stopped to explain its motivations with its final breath. Media literacy is dead and we deserve the black goo.

It would be the perfect organism if it didn't require a 3rd party for reproduction and it was smart enough to build starships and colonize planets. The bugs from starship troopers would be considered more perfect. They spread their seeds through the stars without a 3rd party, and they reproduce without a 3rd party. The bugs dominate every planet they touch.

I would love a video about different androids of the Saga. They've always been an interesting point of the universe, at least to me. We've talked about David a lot due it's central role in the prequels, but other minor synthetics have also caught my attention, especially Elden from the Dark Horse comics and Katya from AvP 2010 videogame.

A-morality¹, scientific curiosity², inate drive to expand, conquer & exploit³, instrument of evolution⁴, no human weakness⁵, ability to (physically) adapt 1) Sooo ... Viruses, bacteria, insects (eg ants, bees, grasshoppers/locusts) are also perfect organisms? 2) This is an opinion. Not an unquestionable attribute 3) This is the drive to survive. The attribute that literally *_every_* not-immediately-extinct organism has. Do humans not conquer & enslave nature? In that way, humans are even better than xenomorphs bc xm's and eg locusts quite quickly eradicate their 'resources' (other organisms and grainfields, respectively), while humans *_actually_* try to exploit crops, kettle & eachother to the fullest 4) You mean creativity & innovativity? The very attribute that signifies the human species? David himself is exists bc of this human capability and he still thinks the xm's are somehow better at it??? 5) emotional distraction = repetition of point 1. physical fragility = another relative attribute a.k.a. opinion (point 2) + the drive behind point 4 6) repetition of point 4 Well ... I can see how David is definitely *_not_* the perfect organism, with his limped reasoning 🙄

I was so upset that they didn't carry on from Prometheus. It wasnt like the usual remakes. It was different. The expansion of the universe and introducing the Engineers. Not sure why they made Alien Covenant which was just the usual "Alien born and Alien tries to kill everyone" type of movie. I wanted to see a continuation of Elizabeth Shaw and Davids story like what we saw in "Alien: Covenant Prologue: The Crossing" youtube video.

Thank you! The Xenomorph is marxist ideology in the flesh. Only our creator is perfect and that truth ultimately leads those who ignore that down a path of self-destruction. David is an AI, that doesn’t even have a soul. He is a sophisticated tool. Who is to say that the Xenomorph isn’t designed also to decieve AI into spreading it through populations that would normally be too advanced and cautious to fall prey to the Xenomorph.
