    That was epic guys... Especially that bridge crossing at the end. Is the adjacent bridge not available to cross? It certainly looked safer... Lol It was an amazing video. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

    No access to bridge next to it. When we rode there there was guards with AK-47's at the both ends of it. So it was absolutely off limits. Vitim bridge crossing was epic, scary to ride, but epic!

    Hi Jon, great to hear that you liked our film! Unfortunately I do not remember the songs name, its a stock music song and I have only access to the name in my adobe premiere project hard drive, but its in another country I am now, sorry. But I have something better for you. If you plan to ride to Mongolia on your planned trip we hid a VODKA bottle under sand and we have coordinates for you: 48.966946,93.896942 (bottle is under the sand with some rock formations around it, so it might be a bit digging around, but it´s good stuff so well worth it). Its along twin sand track leading straight to the sand dunes in our film and it is a breathtaking route. The roads leads first to sand dunes, and then if you continue following it, I believe the road then leads to the village with gasoline, water and food you see in the film after sands. The film is on the other edge of the dunes. Then when you continue from village towards ulanbataar, there is really cool tracks along the south side of the dunes with some more villages with water and food in them. Good luck on your journies Sir!

    Hi guys - there are many films and videos covering Siberia, Mongolia, the BAM and even the Road of Bones to Magadan, and, here is your film. Outstanding quality in filming, cutting, narrating and visualising the most beautiful sceneries of your journey, both with cameras "onboard" and drone....: absolutely perfect!!! Very well done!!! Yours´ is one in a million... Thanks for sharing your adventure!

    how did you know where the fuel was in the desert with no road to follow? what was your range?

  • @jyrifilms
    @jyrifilms4 жыл бұрын

    I used google earth pro to route the entire route to make it personal and find plenty of less travelled paths. It took months to make the map. I zoom in and out in google earth and in this case i found a village big enough that i thought they must have water, food and gas at the edge of sand dynes. Then i calculated the route that we have enough fuel, water to get there. After marking spots on google earth pro, i imported them as waypoint to my garmin gps. It was cool, we were able to explore so much more knowing that we are not running out of juice. Great question thanks!

    This trip was 2014 and 2016 we did a new trip with lighter bikes. It really depends how much asphalt vs off-road there is on the trip. 2014 it was mostly asphalt apart from mongolia but 2016 we did tons of trickier terrain. You can see the 2016 trip with lighter bikes from here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oniKuK-oYMK7ZqQ.html
