You should really credit the true creator and populizer of this technique, Andrew Wiltse. Do your research.

Do me a favor and “research” Marcelo Garcia using this before Andrew Wiltse knew what Jiu Jitsu was before you go spouting dumb shit on the internet.

Any sport at the highest level has people on performance enhancers. I think it's better to be open about it and it's consequences than hide it away and make it taboo

Promoters have to make money. I think its up to the fighters to promote themselves via social, private lessons etc. As far as tournaments go with pay I guess if you dont like the pay then dont compete or find a better tournament.I have done a match for fight 2 win pro. Seth was good to me. I sold no tickets and I I got my submission bonus when I won my match by decision. Seth was nothing but kind to me. Im not sure about these new rumblings I'm hearing. It just seems like people try to find things to complain about.

The guy chokes a tapping female unconscious while telling her to “quit tapping”, promotes steroids on an event that children compete, shorts multiple athletes on their pay, gives matches with one days notice and then flips out if you ask for a last minute match. But hey, at least with you, he met the minimum requirement of actually paying you…so we must just looking for stuff to complain about. Get back to me when you can actually address what’s being talked about here.

Who cares about women in Jitz? Women destroy gyms all over the place. Forcing the men’s culture to change for them. I don’t join a women’s sowing group and start talking about Betty’s big azz T’s and expect them to change the way they behave and understand my gross male humor. Respect for your views on the use of PEDs, but women need to accept the man’s world they are in when they choose to be in it.

That is solid info and well said. Mo should pay you to consult for ADCC. The fact that Seth who's extremely disrespectful for SOoooo many reasons and ADCC hires him....is ignorant. @ADCC show some class.

I was confirmed for a FTW recently about 4 days out. 24 hours before the event I found out they double booked my opponent and I was booted out. My teammate never even got a text from the guys for no reason. Idk if I'll ever do another f2w. It's just unprofessional. I'm tempted to put on my own event. I literally think I can do better. These guys are all over the place.

I thought it was weird the F2W would only give athletes a few day to know if they were going to fight and sell tickets. Should have match ups weeks in advance.

I've never won a tournament but can still charge a hefty fee for privates. Mainly doctors, lawyers, cops, nurses, and businessmen. People with money. Chasing belts and medals is fun but not worth the time or money. If you are a nice person, charismatic, and can teach Jiujitsu clearly at all levels medals don't mean anything. It's the same as getting a degree but working at Starbucks because you're not hirable or have a useless degree. There's money to be made in this sport if Jiujitsu guys weren't such narcissistic idiots.

At the end of the day it’s up to the athletes to garner xposure. Xposure is where the money/eyes are at. If not for that, there is no product. CJI will be a hit because of the exposure all of the athletes are already bringing. Jay rod and Victor Hugo are both top tier athletes but who do you see more of? Jay rod keeps losing but puts himself out there.

Sad the the Sheiks are the main supporters of ADCC and the fighters get paid shit, then Papa Craig and his shadow donation comes thru and with 1 event, gives the fighters what they deserve. Hope they get a sponsorship deal from this and CJI rises and ADCC fades away.
