Mystic Mine got banned? Shame. It was the only I way I could've gone back to play ygo occasionally: to make people cry for playing an objectively bad game.

The video was very well put together up until the last moments where you tried to compare Ryan Yu's record with Magnus's. Like, while Ryan Yu is one of the best yugioh players atm and still very young, you just can't compare his success to Magnus's. Magnus is a 5 time world champion with countless other ''premier event'' wins and has been at the top of FIDE's rating for over 10 years. It's purrely an insult to Magnus's performance.

i will advocate for any meta that makes trap cards relevant again, no matter how toxic people think it is. yu-gi-ohs most defining mechanic that set it apart from other card games (imo) was that you could lay a trap and then react to your opponents actions instead of sitting there and just waiting for your opponent to finally end his 5 hour set-up round. now you have hand traps. you have to first LAY a trap, before it activates, the term hand trap doesnt even make sense. now yu-gi-oh turned into the exact thing that i didnt like about other card games. you just wait for your opponent to end his turn. and i would argue that hand traps and the general speed of the game is much more toxic than cards like this. it stops monster cards from being better at being spell- and trap cards than spell- and trap cards. this is so messed up when you think about it. 37 monster cards and only 3 spell cards to only allow monster effects. wtf?

When there is an easy way to win single player games, that's fine. It's your experience and you can choose to play it however you want. When it's a 2 player game, and there is another person on the other side, it becomes frustrating. This isn't a situation where you have to worry about a board of interruptions, where it's possible to bait out important cards and still get something on the board by the end of the turn. With floodgates like Mine, it's just a hand check. Do you have the necessary spell/trap card to out my floodgate in your hand? No? I win.

This documentary was neat but it was kinda... not very informative... To truly grasp what was so bad about the card and why it's "the most hated card in yugioh" viewers of this documentary would have to already know about the card and already have experienced it. I feel like if a layperson were to watch this documentary, they wouldn't understand why the card had to go. Pretty much all that was said about the card was that "it was niche, then it was bad, then it was good, then it was REALLY good, then it was banned." People who don't play yugioh won't understand why the card was so toxic and hated just by watching this documentary, which I feel is a big flaw. Also the multiple parts where you would start an edit of a tournament and then just say "nah im lazy" is like... what... It's not like there's a time limit on how fast this vid needs to come out, the card is already banned. I understand burnout and I understand not wanting to do something in the moment, but when you /literally/ say "nah im lazy im not gonna finish that" it makes the whole video feel... well... unfinished. I still liked watching this, I'm just trying to give some constructive feedback, good luck in your KZread and yugioh career!
