One of my favorites is the Pagani Design PD1701. Its an Omega Speedmaster homage for less then $80 USD. However they have several different color combinations as well as choice of bracelet or strap.
I actually made a review on that one! very high quality finishing for the price! only wish lume was better!!! but yes alot of colours to fulfil anyone's taste :)
These are some good looking watches! I actually have the Addiesdive Flieger (MY-H2) with the black dial and black leather strap. It's one of my current favorites. The lume on it is just amazing.
I think I'm going to have to jump to the my-h2 honestly such a steal, I think addiesdive are proving themselves to be one of the better budget brands only suggestion is the logo change but what do you think?
@@GodTierWatches22 I definitely favor Addiesdive over many of the other brands. Their new logo is decent, but I really don’t mind the previous one.
Where would you recommend for getting straps?
@tpop3723 aliexpress is good for budget straps, I'd tend to go for a slightly more expensive one there because quality is better than prices of the real brand price proposition wise

Good Video. Ironically I have had no end of trouble trying to sign in to Aliexpress.Their webpage is suboptimal to say the least, and pathetic to say the worst. It just won't let me order even after registering on it.
I know Chinese homage watches can be very controversial because let's face it, they are really mostly copies! But that's okay with me because that's exactly what I want. The Chinese make unbelievably high quality watches for incredibly low prices. There has never been a better time to be an affordable watch collector.
especially during these tough times I agree! I try to stay away from direct copies and rather look for high quality Chinese watches instead

at first, i was planning to buy one of this. But i have few questions for myself back then, like is it worth it (yes), will my friends laugh at me because of the brand (i'm a little bit a brand concious guy) [maybe], will i wear it or just keep it (maybe just keep it and regret about it after). Then i saw seiko spirit SBTR models (JDM). It's a little bit more expensive compared to this (i think the price of the watch is around 110-120 dollars). Same mecha quartz movement. Downside is mineral glass. I bought 2 of those. sbtr011 and sbtr026. And really love it. sbtr027 is also a good looking watch.
they look very nice! honestly I would enjoy that seiko piece myself more, this pagani speedy was for my brother but good picks! howd you find them? they're like a really good alternative to seiko chronograph speed timer!
planning to buy a chrono watch that time. seiko chrono solar is a little bit expensive for a beater watch. then i saw this sbtr models. did some research and it's a nice watch. First i bought the 026. actually it's difficult to choose between 026 and 027. i chose 26 over 27 because of its bezel. the bezel of 27 is color black and it might fade afterwards. 011 is way more beautiful compared to 026.

I found the San Martin Dragon for $279 USD during the Choice sale. You have to do some searching because most of the listings were $288 USD.

Oh dear... all of these are low quality, chinese trash. You can get great quality watches at a low prices from reputable brands. Avoid this crap, buy a Seiko, Casio or Orient instead.
to each to their own. if you've never held a san martin before I highly recommend it before just assuming that they're worthless! but I understand your point of view, reputable brands are reputable for a reason. But with the rise of prices with not a lot of rise of quality, aliexpress watches have their own place in my humble opinion
I got one of these on Ali Express, but with the red bezel. I paid $93, which I thought was amazing. But now, you're right: they're selling for $65! SIXTY-FIVE! After I bought this Pagani a friend in Switzerland surprised me by giving me an Omega MoonSwatch -- $200 more than this thing, and the MoonSwatch is plastic. This Pagani is stainless steel with a sapphire crystal. The whole thing is just crazy. An unbelievable deal. (Note to presenter: Turn down the music, or turn it off entirely. It's OK. You're obviously new to this. There's a learning curve.)

I bought the Pagani 1731 in ice blue during the sale a couple of months back. Dumped the crappy bracelet in the bin and fitted a nice quality tan leather strap. Perfect summer watch 🙂.... Oh, and I couldn't resist grabbing those Cartier Tank homages for £10.60 delivered 😂 thats just ridiculous!

nkuwan You are so well-informed about luxury watches. You've obviously done your due diligence and the comparison to the US is very informative...because of course, I live in New York. thank you very much
tbh, in my country a Rolex, a Omega, fuck even Tissot and Seiko's aren't really achievable to the normal person, an entry level Tissot or Seiko are 350 usd which is more than half of the average wage (600 USD) if you have to pay for rent wich is minimum at 400/500usd, food, water, electricity, the average income barely enough to live without even thinking of clothes, having money to enjoy a good meal at a restaurant or a drink with friends at a bar. Having said that, to people like me who are really enthusiast, who understand the heritage of a watch, the craftsmanship, the design, Homages are realistic ways of enjoying watches that are only available in our dreams, and honestly, i'd rather get a pagani design than any watch that you can get for that price here, which are mostly fashion brands "watches" lol.
honestly yeah exactly, for an average person, these time pieces of heritage are very much expensive and not obtainable for the regular person. having a homage creates a realisticness to the hobby without the price tag and enjoy the watch regardless! You're getting better specs for the price in which other main brands can't compete with and yeah that's honestly why I leaned to Homages!

well, most dress watches don't have 100m, because of how thin the case should be as well as the fact that you're wearing it with leather, so leather would naturally frail with water but yes this is for the very affordable and can't expect much from a 13 usd watch

The Pagani PD1644/PD1664 Daytona homage for only $36 USD. You can choose several colorways, including a faux meteorite dial, and it has 100m WR, VK63, sapphire and a ceramic bezel.
I have talked about that in my previous video!!! yeah I've liked the dial and the cheap price bit I've heard a bit of misalignment in the bezels

And , further : I own the Boderry voyager - a smashing watch which makes me smile when I put it on , it was terrific value at c £53 from Ali- more now I believe. I covet the addiesdive 2028 - as you say a lovely looker which is distinctive and classy . I’ve seen at good prices ie c £54 + duty but seems to have gone up ? Will have to get one of these well made looking smashers !

Ought my pagani 1731 in blue 3 months ago. Quickly wouldn’t last 24 hrs without stopping and had to be reset everyday like an automatic 🙄. Felt very cheap . Ifs not worth it - pay a bit more folks ! Ifs sitting in a drawer now - forever I suspect.

Great video. These Ali express watches are wonderful quality and unbelievable value. My San Martin feels just as nice as my Tudor on the wrist. Yes it may loose 5-10 seconds a day, as opposed to the Tudor’s 2-3, but at 1/15th the cost, that’s completely acceptable.

But time accuracy isn't the reason why people buy luxury timepieces, its correlated to rather the feeling, if you want the most accurate, get a digital quartz watch! thank you for watching!
@@GodTierWatches22 yes I agree a quartz will outperform a mechanical watch. But I know that when I was thinking of buying a high quality watch, the movement was a big deciding factor to me. I’m not a fan of a luxury watch that costs thousands that has a movement from a $500 seiko. That bothers me about a lot of micro brands that charge $1000-$3000 for their watches, yet they have the same selita or miyota movements that a $500 watch has.

I bought the Sugess 1906 back in March and can reccomend - love it. Not loving this "Sale" quite as much. I paid $194 CDN and I see the special Choice price is now $240.
Interesting point, sale prices will always vary with aliexpress unfortunately, its almost like the crypto market, very volatile !

@RaGe_74 I would give this bit of advice to a new watch enthusiast. Don't "buy into" brands and don't think you have to spend more $ to get a good watch. You'll see alot of watch "snobs" in comment section, take that with a grain of salt or better yet just ignore it. And don't "buy into brands" buy what you like. Look into Mirco brands there usually better quality then more expensive watches from bigger brands. And a mistake I made when I was new was looking down apon timex and casio watches. I used to think they were just cheap walmart watches but they have a long history and are actually great watches I recently bought a few timex's and love them for there simplicity and toughness. Timex is actually older then Rolex and just choose to make watches everyone can afford. Lastly stay away from "fashion watches"- Micheal kors, MVMT, ect they are cheap watches you can get on Ali express and marketed up significantly just because it has there brand name on it.
