  Heres a question... Remember when Gears 3 was coming out . and about 6 months before epic had an online poll asking if Clayton should die.... Majority of the people chose for him to live. I often wonder if that is what sealed Dom's Death. Like if people said he should die. Dom would have survivied and Clayton would have been the big hero, but since they left the question open like that , if people unknowingly chose Dom's death
