    I'm not sure about your local ordinances related to fire but honestly, to remove that stump naturally ( not mechanically) you had to start a simple fire over it and keep it firing for a couple days. That is what I do when I don't need to remove the stump completely with roots. I still believe a simple rock is gonna destroy a blade in a second.

  • @SeriouslyStumpd
    @SeriouslyStumpd5 күн бұрын

    @@manukahoneyguru thanks for watching! We don't have any fire ordnances in effect as it's been raining all summer. I agree that a fire takes days to burn down a stump! Luckily, none of the rocks I've encountered have affected the stump grinder.

    Sawdust has value too. Maybe you can sell that to people. Some like it for poultry bedding. Some use it to grow mushrooms if its hardwood dust. In the winter you can make ice blocks with sawdust to make an igloo that wont melt for a month. School janitors need dust for cleaning up vomit 😆

  • @SeriouslyStumpd
    @SeriouslyStumpd5 күн бұрын

    Now that is some creative thinking 🤔. Once I get the Sawmill shed built, if I run into a situation where I have a ton of sawdust collecting... I'll have some options. 👊
