Welcome to the CrossExamined.org KZread channel. We exist to cross-examine ideas against the truth of Christianity. Here you’ll find content from the Cross Examined team lead by our founder & president Dr. Frank Turek, the co-author of the best-selling Christian apologetics book, ‘I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be An Atheist’ (& several more).
Our content includes Q&A clips from live college campus presentations around the country, debates with well-known atheists, interviews, podcast highlights, animation shorts, & our weekly Livestream show, ‘Hope One’.
Topics we cover include addressing common misconceptions & objections made against the Bible, God, & Christianity. Demonstrating how historical, archaeological, scientific, & philosophical evidence all support what only the Christian worldview claims. We also discuss political & cultural movements that are incompatible with a Biblical worldview & how Christians can best navigate the cultural climate we find ourselves in today.

Better to admit there are errors in the bible than hold the indefensible belief that it's inerrant.
God said that he created good and evil
Very soul-soothing words from Frank here, thank you 🙏🏼
An activist. A dumb one at that
Interesting. What do you mean by errors? I agree that we have exactly what God intends for us to have. Perhaps whatever "errors" present are there purposefully to add to the hiddenness of God and keep us guessing, so to speak, on certain knowledge that may be too much for our finite minds. The clarity of the gospel shines through no matter what.
We have zero evidence that the theological message has been changed over time.
The Bible is inerrant. If God can seal us and preserve us in our salvation, why can't He preserve His word that leads us to salvation?
Which one? There are so many different versions of the bible, they can't all be inerrant.
That's so wrong it's almost unbelievable (but then he is a Christian apologist). Degrasse Tyson likened our exploration of our own galaxy alone as being like exploring the oceans by scooping a glass of water and taking that as a representative sample. It is more than likely that there is life on other planets because it's inevitable, people just cannot grasp the scale of the universe.
If Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will hear his explanation they will say: What?!!
Tower of Babel is back!
I like this a lot hope they make more of this again.
Do they not understand that claiming scripture is errant undermines their doctrine of ‘Scripture Alone’? I hope I’m not the only one who realises this. For the record, I do not affirm Sola Scriptura.
It is this mathaf*king belief in genocide that has created such atrocities in Palestine. The belief in wiping out the other tribes in the name of this so-called Creator God is sociopathic, maniac, and immoral.
Anyone else find it creepy that Trump’s satirical alter ego has a squeeze on the globe?
It’s 2024. Your kids should not be going to school.
Simple answer. We don’t.
What do you mean by this claim, that God doesn't prevent errors in the preservation of the Biblical text?
Had horrible time and faith shaken due to perfect preservation (physically) belief. Glad the Lord got me through that. Thank you, Jesus! 👍🏽💪🏾
Frank is just so great in his responses. God bless him.
1:15 you lié‼️Sam Harris is not there to defend the “no mind” bs _ 👽
Spoken like someone who has not counted the vicious teeth of life and looked long enough to see each were a promise said to not happen if his word was followed to the truest extent in all conditions for the love of him and all life. “Cosmic Candy-Man” my respect for the man who wills disaster from his fingertips and out of thin air too great for me to think of him as such. To me, he is just a madman.
When the Gospel is meant to be translated to the entire world in every language, to not expect errors is intellectually dishonest. Not only that but what exactly is errant? Small words perhaps but not doctrine which is the crux of the Bible and knowledge you need to get saved. FAIL!
Frank and Jimmy, if you you’re both so confident in your apologetics debating skills, why won’t either of you debate Matt Dillahunty? A lot of people would pay good money to see that debate.
There is no error in the message it is portraying, and that's what both sides miss. Praise Yahweh the one true God, who reveals Himself as the Trinity. Father, Son, Spirit: coexistant, coequal, and coeternal. Jesus lives ❤️ and is God 🙏🏻 Christ ✝️ King 👑 Repent of your sin and believe in Him to be saved to eternal life!
Amen brother. Only the people who read the Bible have errors.
@@gi169 amen to that!
That’s what the fact that we don’t have free will means 😂
I was trained by God, so I can clear everything up, Jesus said he can't come back until someone cares and helps me
🤨
@@JadDragon This dude is so weird ..
@@gi169 is he joking or serious? Cause I remember talking to a guy who genuinely believed tele evangelists could see HIM through the screen and would react to him in his house, and that he was getting special messages. So I'm very open to someone believing this about themselves. Not to it being true, just them believing it.
@@JadDragon I dunno brother, but he always has a weird comment like his OP. By the way, did you listen to the CE podcast that this short was made from? The podcasts are quite good.
@@gi169 nah, I don't normally listen to the podcasts. Do they have an RSS feed?
Dao is a Chinese concept of Jesuism. Deux Alpha Omega. 🙏
I've always hated "Gender Assigned at Birth." It should be Gender Recognized at Birth, or, simple, Gender.
English please
Thank you CrossExamined.
This argument is a Pandora’s box that will cause nothing but problems for which you’ll have no defense for. If you want to say the Bible has errors then you’ve opened the flood gate and sent an invitation for every accusation against the most essential events of the Bible like creation, the immaculate conception, and the resurrection. You’ve essentially allowed every accuser an excuse because you believe the Bible has errors in it. Bad move. Prove the errors then if you're so sure.
The Bible has errors though. The death of Judas for example.
The Bible does not have errors the people who read the Bible have errors and the people who God chose to write the Bible had errors. It's the awesomeness of the power of God that he was able to use such imperfect people to bring us the awesome story of Jesus that is the amazing word of God. God bless you brother Festus .

Translations can have errors. Only the original manuscripts were inspired and perfect.
@@thejackofspadesYT Not entirely true, in translation words can have slightly different meanings. Translation differences are not errors.

Q: what's the use of a healthcare system that is the best in the world when you can't access it because it costs too much? Self interest is a synonym for greed. Capitalism in todays secular world is motivated by greed it what it devolves to. We should be looking at the biblical way. Which is a mix. IE if a man doesn't work he doesn't eat. That we are to look after the less needy. That self interest or greed should be avoided. The issue isn't the economic system but rather the hearts of men. If our hearts are not after God the no matter what the system it will fail.
Genes have proteins. If im not a man or woman. I am probably a protein - can i be called whey? I like muscle so it might be appropriate.
Sounds easy. Sign me up.
Some of these videos just cause instigation. Stop all your arguing in the comments and remember we all strive for the same purpose albeit at different levels of understanding. Let's be patient with one another and let the Spirit given to you guide you all into truth. Peace.
There is zero evidence for any supernatural event or character in the bible and the quran.
King David, described as a man after God's heart, prayed for the joy of his salvation to return. Not the salvation itself but the joy. This is the same man that had one of his soldiers intentionally killed in battle so he could take his wife. There were consequences to this even past himself. But his salvation was not taken away. Consider if this man was still considered saved despite his great error, what does that say about us? We should never get self righteous as Jesus is merciful. The Harlots and tax collectors will enter heaven before the Pharisees. Not because of their works but who they trust in. Rahab the harlot was considered justified because of her faith and not he works. That being said, now that we are saved we should do good works but failing to do so doesn't take away our salvation. Because if it did then our salvation was always dependent upon us and not Gos. Not Jesus. We should never pray in thankfulness that we are not like the other sinners. We should pray for mercy.
I would ask the questioner what drugs they are taking ...
God never sacrifice himself, God loved the world that he sent the sacrificial lamb for our sins, so that we can have the hope of everlasting life if we believe and obey. Satan influenced others to build false gods, and do the sacrificial thing in order to mislead and confuse people and white wash the true sacrifice of our Lord.
God also said He will put a hedge around us Job 1:10. Does this apply only to Job? Since we are WIP, surely God would bless us. Not forgetting that we are Jesus' lambs. He promised to take care of us.
The Catholic church preserved the bible for everyone
God can exist if evolution is true but problem is no evidence for god All arguments for god existence are lies speculation or just plain bad Micro evolution causes macro evolution No evidence against macro evolution what so ever all the arguments presented have been debunked
I believe people who condemn religious pluralism are the same ones that start the holocaust.
