I squished some and they smell good 🤔 I had to come back to this video to refresh my memory. Maybe I was smelling essential oils? Thank you for the information

Lots of great tips! I would switch number 3 to number 1. Preventative maintenance (reducing conducive conditions) before chemical control.

I have been using a Super Soaker with a 20' reach. It is filled with Liquid Dish Detergent. It knocks them down and minutes later they die. I'm currently using a several paper bags hung around the eves to simulate a wasp nest. Bags are cheap but must be re hung after a storm. If you have a big problem call the professionals.

Thanks for the comment! We've heard dish detergent can help with wasps. Neat idea!

Great video I'm currently running Alpine WSG and Vendetta Plus. Question: If the German Roaches are immune to Pyrethroids, will D-dustnor D-Fense (deltamethrin)still kill them or because it's a Pyrethroid it will not effect them?

Hey Ryan, thanks for the comment. When you run into roaches that are not being affect by Pyrethroids we would recommend something different but not a non-repellent. Once they are immune and not being controlled by Pyrethroids then start using the bait. Use Reynolds Wax paper and cut it in 2 inch squares and fold it diagonally. Place a bead of Advion Roach Bait along the crease and place them throughout the infested areas. Monitor them every day or every other day until the activity is gone. Great question!

We'll be moving to the area in the next couple of months from the cold north! Thanks for all of the information... What should we do proactively to prevent bites and infestations for our family and our home? We learned about chiggers when visiting friends in Tennessee a couple of years ago, and we have mosquitoes and ants here, but the rest are new.

Hey Sarah! We’re excited to welcome you to Texas. To help with bites: Essential oils are a great natural help. Store bought bug repellants like ‘Off’ work as well and don’t fade as quickly. We have a video coming in a couple weeks about some other tips that will be more informative. To help with infestations: Licensed pest professionals do more than just apply products to control infestations. They can identify conditions that trigger them before they happen. Having a regular service provider is extremely helpful in North Texas.

After viewing this, I am convinced I have made the correct choice for all of my lawn care needs. I have been a CityTurf customer in the Wylie/St. Paul's Inspiration subdivision for just under a year and, I am seeing my lawn improve. Prior to contracting with CityTurf, I had to do some major plumbing, irrigation system repair and reconfiguration and, tree planting that required a great deal of digging in both my front and back lawns. So extensive was the work, my yard was traumatized and looking very damaged overall - and, it did not help matters to learn that upon completion of our new home construction, most if not all of, the smaller construction debris (pieces of wood and drywall, broken bricks, leftover mortar, etc) was not removed from my property, rather it was turned over into the yard, covered with sand, then graded and sodded. That's right! And, the little Bobcat driver did a very nice job of evenly distributing the debris, because no matter where I dug (and still dig...) I end up hitting some type of debris at about 8-10 inches depth. Now, despite the trauma that I continue to dish out, with CityTurf's knowledge of my lawn's history, I believe they are monitoring my lawns progress and it is slowly improving. I came to be a CityTurf customer because I watched as one of my neighbor's lawns blossomed into a beautiful thick and healthy looking lawn. I am still waiting for that, but I remain hopeful and I do recommend CityTurf to anyone looking for great lawn care.

Hey Jonathan, I am also in Collin County and I file fuel excise tax refunds on behalf of landscape companies like yours. A lot of companies don't know that they can do this, and it can end up being tens of thousands of dollars in refund. May we chat for 5 mins so I can provide more information? Thanks!
