I have the 2 of same jetskis supercharged as well but one of them tops out at like 55 and the other goes like 73 can u tell me why my blue one only goes 55?

That’s very strange. What year? If it’s new ish they have a mode where you can limit the top speed on the touchscreen so you might have done that by accident? If not there might be something stick in your intake grate and or impeller and that’s what’s causing the problem. Doesn’t hurt to take it to the dealership also!

I tried going that fast and fell off, does weight and size also matter when trying to this fast because I am a big guy and the jet ski I was riding did have a maximum weight capacity of 600 LBS but does weight and size still play a factor in how fast you can go even if you don’t pass the weight capacity?

I weigh 170 and hit 76mph on gps. Same day my dad went on and hit 74 but he also weighs 250. So yes more weight will slow you down, but no matter how much you weigh if you fall off going over 55mph you can become paralyzed. Water will quickly turn into what feels like solid concrete lol

Well yeah I’m the size of an Offensive Lineman, I hit a little bit over 45 mph and flew off after I hit a wave.. and i was wondering if I fell off because of my size or because I was rookie trying to be like a pro to fast LOL.

You'd get more proficient with experience as you go along, there's big guys who outride me all the time. I recommend getting to speeds u can safely handle & stick to It until your body can get used to the bashing around then increase from there

Not normally. Doing the tunes void warranties but I actually have a dealer near me who would tune it for me. Still need to buy the license for it tho. Best to tune it yourself

GP1800 is 2-3mph faster, smaller, and has better handling. FX SVHO is bigger and more comfortable, has no wake mode and cruise assist. Remove speed limiter on any of the SVHO-powered watercraft and u can get 75+mph (Fx SVHO, Cruiser SVHO, Limited SVHO, GP1800/R)

warm water + warm air and humidity made a substantial difference for me (8300) water was 96.1-(Crazy) but over 2 days air was about 8 degrees different. 77.4 MPH when it was cooler vs 74.7 mid day 94 degrees and humidity close to 80%. You will not void warranty on 8300. Technically you can but with Riva they are like Mercedes and AMG(kinda). You Purchase a license that's good for life and you can always unflash to stock settings if you are worried about it. Either way nice vid and love the GP. Took mine out today and ended having an epic storm adventure.
