    I've never seen xps foam that colour. Just after you cut your pillars but before you carved them, it looked like butter. Thanks for sharing!

    If I remember correctly this foam is from the brand "soprema" 😄

    @@Lay-Art now that I think about it, butter as a building material perhaps can be painted with aerosols. Yup, no reason for it to melt that I can think of. 🤔😁

    I think this is my favourite of your builds so far,I think the end effect on the stone looks perfect for volcanic touched stone and I think sometimes the best results always come by suprise,happy accidents.

    Thank you so much ! I do believe that trials and errors are to create unique opportunities. But for me, failing to make an idea come to life is pretty difficult to handle. Anyway, I try to better myself and it is one of the main goal of my channel !     Quite hard for me to keep up while failing haha ! But I think showing the process all from the beginning and even the mistakes or the failures is what gives credibility and authenticity to my videos. At least I hope it does because it would be lies to say that everything went fine. I am on a quest to better my crafts and my videos WHILE hoping for the people watching what I make to do and feel the same 😊

    Honestly I really like where this ended up, seems like a solid prototype that you can expand on! I would love if you attempted that first roof again, I'm glad you kept that footage in cause that first was really neat looking! But I love the huge chunky stone roof in the end product as well!

    Many thanks, I think I can craft the roof I was going for in the first place but not using the techniques I did use. Nonetheless I had fun cutting big ROCKS, it was relieving frustration haha 😅

    I'm starting to try to do my own terrain for wargaming and your channel has a lot of cool builds and inspirations for me! I probably want to try to make houses with playable interior spaces, where the minitures can move around. Hopefully you will make a tutorial for that some time in the future aswell. Anyways thanks for the great videos!

    Use a lighter brown, would be nicer and instead of sand, use a light dirt dry brush ontop then hit it with a black wash and will give better results

    As a cardboard builder, slowly expanding into Readi-board foam, this is a huge goal for my DnD crafting! I think I might give this a shot and glue the walls to the upper floor to make it players can go inside

    At the beginning I wanted to craft only a wall, for glamour shots and having a background for my miniatures . It turned out to be that church and while crafting I asked myself why not making it playable, but time was running out for me. I can't wait to heard of your project of making it playable ❤
