thats the one reason im not a fan of the rockwall, always lose lures and get snagged. Great fish though!

Hi Outdoor_Aus , can i catching bream in boat ramp . Land base bait fishing .
@outdoors_aus3607Ай бұрын
Definitely! I find high tide to be best for bream, fish near structure - rocks, pylons, boats or trees. Basically anything underwater will hold fish at high tide. Best of luck

What kind off rod and reel combo do you have bro?
@outdoors_aus36072 ай бұрын
Hey mate, just a cheap Savage combo from BCF, was around the $100 mark. This was a few years ago thought, but I’m sure there’s plenty of good options around that price.

Hey, I’m not too familiar with the spearfishing rules around here. I personally haven’t seen anyone spear fishing in this area. Have a browse of this link below, these guys are full of knowledge and should get you on some fish! I thought flatties were usually targeted on the outgoing tide?
@outdoors_aus3607 Жыл бұрын
Hey, I find this to be the case in some areas, however I try to fish areas that will be holding fish regardless of the tide. If there is some form of protection and food they will be around!

Some good action there mate. A set of boga grips might have saved the day! All on soft plastics right?
@outdoors_aus3607 Жыл бұрын
Yep! I think your spot on! Santa might just be bringing me a pair! Yeah all on Zman soft plastics! I tend to have three option’s ready to go, a brighter option a darker option and something that has either been working well for me lately or something that matches bait in the area if I can see any. So usually something silver.

@@outdoors_aus3607what size jigheads do you use? Do you catch them often off the rock wall
@outdoors_aus3607Ай бұрын
@jaseclements981 hey mate, I usually try to fish as light as I can, but you still want to be heavy enough to find the bottom. My most common sizes are 1/12, 1/8, 1/6 and 1/4. These fish are just of the wall. I fish the beach side as there’s usually less current. The lighter the jighead the better the lure will swim but the most important thing is getting down to the bottom where those fish will be! Hope this helps!
