In some Asian cultures white is more associated with death than black so colors meaning get interesting when looking at different cultures.

When he drew those color wheels, it felt like when a teacher is doing something basic on the board and you look away for one moment and when you look back on the board, the teacher summed up the history of the universe from start to finish.

For the challenge : 1: you used very catchy colours on the background to focus on it instead of the main character 2: the character is discovering the city for the first time so he observe it entirely 3: you used a low angle shot to give an impression of immensity on the landscape Btw, thanks !

Inside to sell lots of pot and people would come to my bedroom to obtain it. I had a large fluorescent light in the room and covered it with blue tape for about few months. I noticed it affected my mood. I also noticed it bummed out visitors. Once a customer that was tripping had a strong response.

The part on color meaning was interesting. I actually used these colors in a similar way to how I color my XCOM2 soldiers. I make my Reapers (the high damage, close combat) Red. I make my Snipers Blue because I always imagine them needing to be calm before they fire off a long range shot. I make my tech/healers green because they heal soldiers. And I make my demolitionists orange. I find that absolutely insane that without even knowing anything about these colors I subconsiously assigned meaning to them in the characters of my game. And also, for black meaning power, that's another interesting one. When I'm in the end game and I go for the final mission, I change the color of my ENTIRE party to Black. Kind of like they're the most powerful unit I can possibly send in and they're going to be used to kill the enemy for good. That's so insane dude. Great video.

Colours don't work 'good' together. You needed an adverb there. Colours work 'well' together. 'Well' is an adverb. Verbs are 'doing' words. Adverbs give more info about how the 'doing' is done. I've just learned about colour theory. I hope you've learned a little about grammar. It would be very *good* if you learned it *well*. 😊

The color meanings & symbolisms are cultural, though. He went with the western-world cultural meanings. In China, the colors mean different. For example, in the West, people like to use green for good and red for not good. In China, red means upmarket and green means downmarket. (You can tell a western investor has to get used to this.) Hong Kong has the same color symbolisms (red vs green) as the West probably because it used to be a British colony, and the colors were imprinted on them. Plus, if you say "going green" or "greenlight", it usually means success and "woohoo" and passing in English. It's something good. But if you use the Chinese words for red and green, they have their own meanings too, and I think that's why Mainland China has its own way of doing things. I know this because it took me a while to understand the symbolism of Hans Christian Andersen's story of The Red Shoes. From a Western European Christian perspective, the red shoes are symbols of sin and lust and passion. Similarly, the Scarlet Letter is red, hinting at the woman's adultery/lust.
