It's not that hard just stay in an airbnb instead of hotel, buy stuff from people in their houses instead of government stores, give some street kids food and water.

or just dont go to cuba wtf?

we would be remiss if that is the impression the video is facilitating. Going to Cuba is a remarkable opportunity to experience a one of a kind culture and people. Our goal is just to make travelers aware and ensure they are doing their research for a legal trip. It's totally worth the effort.

I would hold a travel agent responsible for that pertinent information. ESPECIALLY if I found out the hard way.

We agree that you should. As a travel operator with 10 years of experience taking American Groups to Cuba - that is our responsibility so you don't have to bear that burden.

So you hire a tour manager who's actually acting like a lawyer to help you dance around the legislation and tour without being a tourist?
@ECCTrips8 ай бұрын
Somewhat. I wouldn't classify it as "dancing". The US Treasury regulations are clear and once you read and understand them, there are completely legal and acceptable ways to travel as an American. And yes, a good tour operator should spend time like a "lawyer" understanding the code to protect their clients. But its not a typical "tourist" trip, you are going "in support of the Cuban people" so you must meaningfully engage with local Cuban people to experience and learn their culture. And that is what a good tour operator understands and enables.
