How can anyone not love Emmylou? I have seen her many times in Austin during the 80s and 90s. I will forever love her and her music. Her voice is like an angel. She is so under rated by the public, yet so admired by other musicians.

John could make you cry and give you hope in the same breath. What a gift. I first saw him in September, 1977, at an outdoor concert sponsored by my school's Student Union. He opened with Illegal Smile. I was instantly a fan and knew that school was going to be an adventure.

Steve Ferrone is a beast on the drums. He keeps the groove tight. I hope he stays with the Heartbreakers for a long time. However, without Tom they just aren’t the same. Intractable pain and access to various pain-relief meds is what killed Tom. I feel certain his intent wasn’t suicide, just relief from constant pain. I know what that’s like.

Had the same feeling for a while, they don’t seem happy and lost the joy in playing together. Emilie doesn’t watch Andrew anymore as before. Watchhouse has been a whole new chapter all together.
