I wonder why Matt Lucas is so well dressed for rehearsal. He must have been coming from somewhere formal , or going to one afterward.

Oh no! That nasal pop note Nick Jonas dips into at 4:28 makes it sound like he’s about to break into a top 40 song, not a classic broadway song! I know he was “in” around this time but he was all wrong for this :( , especially when he’s surrounded by these booming, beautiful, powerhouse broadway voices. Smh, they should have valued getting a more powerful voice.

I applaud Nick Jones for taking on this role. Many opera and musical theatre singers use nasal tones to cut through an orchestra. Yes, he would have benefited from more training and preparation but he shined where it counted. His emoting was spot on and his focus was impeccable. I imagine he learned a lot from his cast mates.

I now see what conductorcment when he said they were pushing it I'm having ago at beginners version of these songs in coloured letters but even then it's easy to think dramatic and play it too fast when you listen really carefully which I struggle to do as I've got autism and focusing a struggle I manage to write a few verses of notes you know if it's a good working out which g first second third I can only do a couple verses then have to leavecitcwhile next day so it will help me listening to these time again to listen properly in other things it's easier in music as you don't feel under pressure than you do mixing with other people I love musicals

除了小男主的声音差,其他演员都perfect.
这种西方的艺术形式真的很震撼人心!我们国家的戏剧改革一直没啥大突破。喜欢音乐剧!
