Hi! My name is Andrew Sink!
Creating technical and process documentation is something that I really enjoy! This led to the creation of this KZread channel which seeks to push the boundaries of 3D printing, as well as solving common 3D printer related problems.
With over 150 videos and 3,500,000+ views, this channel reflects my own enthusiasm and motivation to solve problems and create new solutions.

I can't believe the damn chocolate 3D printer works better than my personal 3D printer.
Where can I get the rig
@@hecsan5072 Pinned comment!
Matte just means insufficient heat
“Here’s a little version of me, Alan. I want you to have it.”
A lot of print failure people are attributing to moisture is actually just old filament losing volatile plasticizers. Heating the filament draws plasticizers out from the core of the filament, but eventually, the filament becomes brittle and useless. But hey, lets make 2000 videos explaining what hydroscopic means. Try this at home kids: dry a new roll of filament >60C for a week, it will print horrible.
Instead of brushing on the resin, I'm pretty sure a gloss varnish would produce the same results as well as create a nice base layer for your paints, if you decide to paint it.
every channel i watch that uses this printing machine for benchy gets a messed up one 😭
@@swallowtailpopcorn It’s a tough print!
Andrew Sink….aka Tucker Carlson confirmed
The pen plotter tool head.. Tell me some more bout that.. Genius!!
Thank you so much for sharing this elegant 3D printer from 2016. I saw someone listed it as used for sale at $500, may I ask is that still worth at this price today in mid 2024? I am really wondering about that as a beginner of 3D printing. Appreciated for your response.
kinda looks like a... broken wing.... maybe it should try flying. maybe somewhere it can be free, closer to its ideal.

@SportsEditz1015 this is the chocolate 🍫 🙏 it’s 100% real chocolate and tastes perfectly normal. They just heat it and push it through a heated coil tube, and it’ll print anything you want
next: resin level of fdm
Kinda like laser centering ??
Andrew! hi! I don't know how to make my models hollow, plus! making them click together, for stop motion faces if you can help! please reply! 👍👍
it will always be an issue with fdm printer 😂
I wonder what other fabrics could be used to get the same result(I'm allergic to tulle)
That's a great question! I'm not sure of an alternative, but I'm sure they exist.
@@AndrewSink perfect! i don’t 3-D print(am broke) but it was interesting to see this process! Thanks for the reply!
Amezing
Thanks for this! I noticed on this video and my own testing that the prints are not centered. I tried everything to get them to offset to the X and Y axis short of physically moving the switches and nothing works. Any ideas? You can see in the calibration test that the whole thing is off to the left.
The faster one looked better imo
зачем эта игрушка нужна 😂😅
2 years later, this seems to be improving?
Absolutely. The new versions of this scanner provide significantly higher resolution and are generally improvements over this original.
really cool thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
It's kinda cool but the magic would probably fade pretty fast since there's not really any practical use and you can just eat the core
Lots of rude commenters here.
i think its obvious that it works. the 3d scanning doesnt use ai to look at what on the camera and decide how it is in 3d, it use the same stuff it uses in the face scanning (i forgot the name). its lasers that we cant see with our eyes and i think it (somehow) knows how far the lasers are , and uses that to make it 3d. its why you cant unlock somebodys phone with a picture of them.
Saving this video for when I make my PC case ❤
Good luck!
Adorable
Right? It was a ton of fun to build, too!
Bro made a 2d printer
Andrew thank u for help! U saved my ass
Glad I could help!
Is she big enough for the 3.75" figures?
I could do this with a lazy susan could I not?
I now have a cosplay idea
Awesome, good luck!
As someone with a lot of screen time in the documentary “Trekkies”, always nice to hear a trek shout out! Even if it is Discovery lol
That looks like a 3D printed 3D printer
It sure is!
Its 2.500$ so people have something to talk about lol
I was definitely talking about it!
@AndrewSink yeha like nobody bought it for 2500$ and everyone's printing it so ig it's just to make the whole internet print this basketball lol
This is the peak of technology. The sun should just explode now. There's nowhere left for human beings to go, and it's all downhill from here.
Awesome!
Thanks!
Couldn't you put in the cartridge failed prints and 3d poop??
That would create a lot of voids and bubbles. Remelting the chocolate is on my list of things to try in the future!
The Neptune 4 looks better kinda like plastic
And than join see the bambulab A1 mini with the 500mm/s 😂😂
What device did you use to scan it?
iPhone 13 Pro Max
Wouldn’t violent mode blow the part loose?
Just use gloss vanish
The scale move and rotate, should be a fundament gate. For six months.hee he hee😢
Guts to fuck the world"he. YGtS finance. 9358_ that's this redeem record index wrong, of any introvert ins deposit. Given any value of any amount. That's got.nothing good.
I have a couple questions; 1-do you put glue still down on the plate? 2- how do you apply it once it’s printed on the tulle.
Nope, no glue needed on the bed for this print! You could apply it by stitching to the final piece of fabric? Might be worth some experimentation!
It looks really clear AND has a high level of transparency? Wow
Yeah, it works really well!
Yeah I got an elation 3 and it sucked but now I am getting an x1carbon
