  The inner shoe is difficult to check, and WAY more difficult to replace if you want to keep the original pushrods. I wonder why Harley-Davidson didn't at least make the cam-to-cam connection gear-to-gear. I doubt that it would have added to the noise that much, and the amount of pinion run-out shouldn't matter.

  The inner shoe really isn't that difficult, just lift it with a screw driver or something simular and check it out. The part of the shoe that would wear is gonna be facing towards the screw driver and Really it's not that much work to pull the push rods, just remove the tank and top of the rocker boxes then rockers but I personally prefer adjustable.

  @@DeathProofProductions Pulling the gas tank, rocker covers, rockers, cam plate, tensioner, and then putting it all back together is a two-way job for an inexperienced, shade-tree mechanic, who is paranoid about forgetting something or messing something up! 😄

  Remember it's just a lawn mower engine between our legs. Even if your going slow to make sure it's right it's not hard work just be cool and take your time, Really it's nothing to it.

  Yes, some brands of nipples are not really the right size for certain brands of caps. Older Italian brands were more know for this. Remington caps I've had really good luck with, they have a little better design than some others. One trick I have used on loose caps is to pinch them on the end just a little than put them on ,lets them hold a little more tension.

  I have a 2011 superglide with a hd screaming eagle intake, fp3 fuel pack, and Vance and Hines big shots (although I might make the change to a bassani road rage 2). The bike already feels like it pulls good to me but since the cams will give me more power I want to do that upgrade. Do you happen to have any recommendations on what cams would be a good fit? Thanks

  Not sure if this answers the question correctly but I like low to mid range power the best. I Like quick acceleration. I just got the moons 3/4 turn throttle and I like the quicker response.

  #1 Never put your finger inside the trigger guard unless you have a positive aiming. #2 Never cowboy shut the cylinder. Push the center of the cylinder firmly with your weak hand thumb. #3 Watch Jerry Miculek videos at least 3000 times. An example of how revolvers should not be treated in this manner.

  #1 It's a video and KZread makes us edit shorts to only 60 seconds I drew the gun that was pointed down my range and fired, just chose not to use the footage of me shooting double action.. #2 it's not a watch, it won't break closing it like that once every 10 years that I take it out to shoot it. What if I was in a shoot out closing it slow would defeat the purpose of the speed loader. #3 stop wasting your time watching video's and go out and practice and you can win state and national championships like me and Jerry. An example of how not to comment
