J'ai été conquis par la vidéo, la superbe présentation de Philippe, alors hier, j'ai pris rendez vous pour le lendemain avec André qui m'a accueilli avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de gentillesse, j'ai pu essayé la guitare...et Woua !!! ...je l'ai achetée dans la foulée. Merci à Concert Classical Guitar et bien sûr à Giulo Sangirardi & Giula Cavicchi pour cet instrument d'une très belle musicalité. J'ai calé la guitare contre moi en écrivant ce commentaire.

Je n'aime pas le timbre de la Marty dont les basses me semblent nasillardes. La Jim Redgate ne me semble pas juste ou alors elle est désaccordée dans le premier comparatif. On entend bien les différences entre une table en cèdre rouge et celle en épicéa. Ma préférence va à la smallman. Avec l'âge, une bonne guitare évolue généralement comme un bon vin et la Smallman ne joue pas dans la même catégorie en comparaison de ces "jeunettes".

Absolute nonsense, Daniele does not make a guitar with a similar volume to a double top. However he does make a lovely traditional sounding guitar.

This Smallman seems to have a lot more of the "banjo" trebles and midrange than I've heard from the best. The Madimenos is better in that respect and given the likely price difference (because, of course, these guys never tell you the price), I'd take it any day..

Excellent clarity and the sound is very nice, what eye watering price is this guitar? Have you tried a Daniele Marabello Hauser 2? They seem to sound quite close in a recorded comparison.

This one has no crack. I’ve played ten that were immaculate. But wood is wood and of course it’s hard to keep a guitar safe. All the old violins and cello’s are repaired from many cracks and are still played.

My pleasure. I think that now they use that 4 years process and makes a stable guitar, but of course after ten or twenty years of playing and traveling you can’t have zero risk …. Anyway those Hauser’s are magical for their tones. And thank you for sharing your ideas and watching our little videos.

I have Alessi tuners on my Daryl Perry concert. I bought mine 2nd hand. So I emailed Daryl with the year and number and he has this information documented. I'm sure if you ask him, he could tell you which tuners are on the one you are presenting. Depending on the buyer, Daryl would install tuning machines by Rodgers, Alessi or Scheller.
