Voice actress Nancy Cartwright, best known for her work on The Simpsons, attended Ohio University on a scholarship in 1976. In 1978, she left OHIO to follow her dreams in Hollywood. Nancy was invited back to be the Commencement speaker for the Ohio Class of 2012. This film documents Nancy's trip back to Ohio as she gives advice to the graduating class on how to be successful in life.

As an animation artist I can't stress enough how important the right performance is. She is a legend, and such a wonderful person. How cool that she went to OU (go Bobcats). Athens is always a great area to visit, especially the many Hocking trails and caverns which I hope she got to experience when she was there.

Nancy was my boss in 2000, at her Happy House Productions. I was her Executive Assistant, and she let me put an organic food garden in her front yard, because she is an exemplary human being. She let me hire my Godmother, Rabyn Blake Sercarz to guide the process, as Rabyn had decades of experience in this locale -- a hot, dry-summer climate zone. Nancy was always supportive, kind, fun, easy-going and intelligent, so caring. What a pleasure to see her be honored for her beauty in every way, a doctor! Yes, this is a fitting blessing and acknowledgement for Ms. Cartwright! "People like to be around others who help others ~ with PASSION! That's me! And, I have witnessed and learned to discern those who actually love real support and those who are covertly hostile, suppressive, invalidating and harmful to life: degeneratively-distracted, their productivity and clear focus stolen by pain, doubt, fear, grief, trauma, PTSD (Persistent Trauma Sadly Denied), drugs/denial of Self, etc., stuck in Shame + Blame loop, Muted by Fear or Psychiatric Poisonous Drugs and labels, or toxic-relationship operating as a victim and /or the perpetrator due to generational or personal interferences).
