  I also love the music. It's a mix of cheesy pornography music and cheesy 80s cop drama/miami vice. Idk whether to expect Tom Selick or a chick with leg warmers, giant hair, and a gianter bush to pop out lol.

  First played this in the Students' Union in Swansea back in 1985. Could make my ten pence last a long time. Saw the game again during summer vacation at a campsite in western France in August 1986 but the cabinet controls were reversed - joystick on the right. So I played cross-handed and made my one Franc last a longer time... Two months later I returned to college and the games had all been moved and replaced and there was a 'Gauntlet'...and so a new chapter (a rather lengthy one) began...

  I recall there was a bug in the game sometimes though that when you got to the third or fourth waves of the large birds, if you blew both their wings off sometimes they would just spontaneously explode but award you no points

  I’m 42. When I was in 2nd grade I remember a kid telling me about this game where you were just bashing all these kids out of their chairs and I thought that was the funniest thing I ever heard. But I never saw it until today and all this time just figured he made it all up. Wow this game actually exists huh?

  I played this & 'GORF', at an Arcade in South Shields, U.K., in the 80s & was impressed by the 3D-looking Graphics & sparkling Pixel Colours (@01:12), on what was just an ordinary Colour Tv Screen !! I liked 'GORF', with the Speech Synthesis. Back then, each Pixel in the Screen was big enough, so You could see how the RGB colours were used !! The Graphics Card worked hard on these Games !!! 👍🏻😀

  I saw this game at a laundromat in 1986 when I was 10. Never played it, but I loved the music. For years I've been trying to find this game to add to my CoinOps Bit Wars collection, but never knew the name, all i could remember was the red plane. Thank god I was watching one of Angry Video Game Nerd's videos about the Taito Legends collection game and saw that they're the ones who made that game. Now my life is complete😂😂😂

  The graphics on the turbo grafx 16 version looks pretty much the same. But the music is WAY better on the turbo grafx version.
