Not exactly. If you aren't doing it as a business then much of my tips don't apply. I would say all the sales tactics do but if I were you I would list low and share like crazy. What is your closet maybe people would be interested in sourcing from you. Travel the world! That's amazing!

I deleted all of my stock photos because I was called out by Duluth for using one of theirs. So I decided to delete all of the stock photos I had.
Rebecca I am just getting started. Have watched SO many research vids (yours & others) + joined groups + bought your $20 Info bundle!!!! (etc) (I am a methodical researcher w/notes before I leap & fail (too) greatly, knowing i will obvi make many mistakes as i keep learning) ••••This might be ignorant Q since I havent populated my closet yet •••But the OBVI Q to me (?) that I havent heard anyone comment on yet = •••Dont you need LIKES first in order to be able to even send progressive/aggressive offers?? •••IF I am pricing HIGH to allow for later great offers ~ doesnt that mean I likely (wont) get many likes ~ Even if I 1.) have great products 2.) known brands/trends & 3.) Use all the best Kewords.... •••IF I DONT GET LIKES 1st, isnt that the core name of the game as STEP 1? Cant offer until they LIKE, (is that correct??) •••OR is there some other way to send 20% 30% great offers on closet items to.... (Followers??) •••CONFUSED!! 😮 THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Great question! So the goal is to sell things. So I don't really want likes or to send offers I want to sell. Ideally in a perfect world people would just buy it and that does happens sometimes. Then next best is people on PM are conditioned to get offers and send offers so they like and see what happens or they like because they want to go back to the item later like a bookmark. Then you can send offers to the likers and that is the next best option. Then you can keep sending offers to remind people about your item and the good deal if your price is high enough because you can send higher offers. If you only priced low you couldn't send multiple offers and you would miss the opportunity to get in front of the buyer over and over. I believe that multiple offers are more effective than price low and wait and see. There is a trade off but I believe worth it. This works for me and for many others that try it but it may not work for all if the items are not worth a higher price. The items have to have value for this to make sense.
I just attempted to install Posher VA, and got a message that I did not qualify. I am new to Poshmark, so is it my newbie status or small inventory that got rejected?
Oh I haven't' heard of that before. Not sure. I would email PVA they are good at getting back to people.

My 2 cents- we do a lot of share shows. Most people like the list of measurements in one picture. Mostly P2P & Length. Measure pants flat on the back, rise, & inseam. I hope this helps ❤.

In regards to weekly bulk price drop, are all your items starting at the same price ($50), so you know not to price under $26? It seems like a lot of work to figure out your lowest possible listing price if you have a closet full of items at all different prices. What are your thoughts/advice?
I don't need to figure anything out, I just set my PosherVA settings and it does all that math for me. I kust click 3 buttons and walk away. Its amazing! All items are at different prices so it would be a nightmare if I had to do all that work.
Do you only sell on Poshmark? Or is this your preferred platform :)
right now only on PM, its easy and I like to not have to worry about ebay intense policies, i have had love hate with ebay.....mercari is awesome and I loved selling there and made good money but Im good with just focusing on PM now plus the other diverse income streams I have outside of reselling

Hello! Glad you found me! Happy to help! I don't do PM live shows and its hard to go live on KZread these days with schedules but maybe in future. I have videos on listing template where I show buyer confidence line but otherwise most of my listings should have it but this is my template Excellent pre-owned condition with no flaws. What speed do you use on posher va?? I been sticking with slow. I almost have 500 listings . I am sharing about 14 times a day.
Im pretty sure i have it on medium, the more listings you get the more fast you need it to go so you can fit all the shares in, but the total number of shares will go down

What do you mean when you say relisting?
You can do it a few different ways, but relisting means making a copy of your listing and deleting the old listing so that you have a fresh one that seems new.
I learn something new every time I watch your channel. Thank you. You gave me some good ideas. Question. In your opinion how many items would a person have to have in their closet to see a difference. I know that is a hard question but I am looking for some incentive I guess to list more and something to look forward to.
It is hard to say because technically you could lose five items and sell all five of them… Or you can list 200 and not sell any… It really just depends on so many things… But if you are under 500 now, I would say shoot for 500 that is a critical mass that should be getting you daily sales if all of the other things you do are working… If you can store up to 1000 I think 1000 is a great number for a closet to make Reliable money, but I would imagine most people need more depending on what your money goals are

I didn't bother automating until my closet has 500+ active listings. I manually shared 3 x a day. Posh Ambassador I/II status doesn't seem to have real benefits that I've found value in. I wouldn't source any inventory with an original retail of less than $150-200 because the resale income won't be worth the time (apart from maybe Aritzia brands)
Where do you source things that have an original value that high? I have trouble finding things like that in my area.

In your number system do you write the number on the bag or just look for the item when it sells.
Yes number on bag but I use numbered labels from Amazon - I have these in my resource guide

Hi Rebecca! Your info is so helpful as I prepare my home office and go through my closets. I’ve purchased your bundle deal for $20. WOW! such a generous offer. Thank you!! I consider you my mentor into this business after leaving corporate life in January. I’m taking your great advice and applying it so I have a solid foundation. I’m 💯 in agreement with your business plan. So SMART. Question: I have the numbers to set up my inventory system. Say my first box/bag is numbered 1-50. I can fit items that fit into the plastic bags that I have the numbered stickers for already. Now say I have a coat or other bulky item that will need to stay hung up in a dedicated closet I have for reselling items. Should I make the closet items a separate number series like 900-1000 series ( I only have maybe 150-200 items to start) or keep it in order of numbers I start with and put a note on my inventory excel file that the coat say it’s # 35 is in the closet? This is probably a newbie question but, since I’m just starting, I want to do it right now. I appreciate you so very much! Sending you cyber hugs for being wonderful YOU! ❤
Great question - I take the smaller prelabeled bag and put it with item inside a larger bag that I get for those larger items its 12x15 instead of the smaller 9x12. So I would keep coat as 35 because the small 35 bag is in the large bag and I would keep 35 in 1-50 bag. Hope that makes sense. This is why I don't do 1-50 and do 1-25 because the larger items can fit and I can always mush bags together later as things sell. I keep both 9x12 and 12x15 bags. Hope that helps!

The one thing I don't like about Poshmark is when you send offers to likers it states you have to go 10% lower than your last offer. What if you don't remember what the last offer was? Why 10% at a time? I want to send offers out, but most of my offers don't go out to the likers because apparently, I'm not going low enough. It's crazy. I think the offers should be what you want them to be, like you can do in Ebay.
Yes! I agree! I don't like that rule either. I can only go so low. So sometimes, if I've offered a few times, and don't want to go lower, I'll delist, and then relist, the item so I can start over with it and make the offers I want to to likers.
SO yes but you can also keep overthinking it ...just do 10% then next time do 20% then next do 30% and so you will always be in the rules. PM does this I think so people don't spam others. Watch my Offer to Likers video if you haven't seen it and it will explain an easy streamlined system for offers.
Yes that is a good strategy. You can also price higher and then send larger offers.

Nike ACG is a specific Nike line that is "All Conditions Gear" for outdoor use/wear. I believe its discontinued but its good quality and can sell for a nice amount. Often time the item will have an orange or black triangle as the symbol. Happy Hunting!

Hello~ do you share to posh parties with your posherva? I got it and am loving it, but wonder if my shares would be better used if shared to just followers (and actually I don't know if posh parties bump the listing in the algo or not.) I know others sharing your listings apparently doesnt either.
