  The only thing I don’t like about my RZHD 61 in Spartan is the way you adjust the deck height. Mine hops a little sometimes and moves from where I had it adjusted. At 3in it sometimes drops a 1/4 of an inch. I wish it had pins instead of the knob.

  I’ve had a Ferris 1500z for over 18 years, I absolutely beat the snot out of that mower, sometimes it gets used as a brush hog! It’s still running strong! Love the product! Very pleased, will be buying another one to replace it.

  I like the husqvarna 525 commercial trimmers they sell at Lowe's. Very light weight and decent power and I'm on year 2 with no issues at all. It gets ran hard too

  ACME Mowing could I get your honest thoughts on something. I'm debating between a Quest X-Series or a Bad Boys Maverick? I have places that deal both and service both so that's not an issue. Thank you in advance!

  You already know my thoughts I bet. You cannot go wrong with Exmark in my opinion. But, I have a dealership that actually cares about the customers that buy equipment from them. And it shows. I think the nearest Bad Boy dealership is 45 minutes away...and those mowers share floor space with used motorcycles and ATVs. I would be asking about service times. Some dealers here got a month behind last year. Some did first come first served. We spent our money with one dealership. We get a bit of priority because of that. That said. What will it be used for? The Exmark is the better machine. No doubt. The question is....is it worth the cost? If our Exmark dealrship was crap...I'd buy a Bad Boy if the price was right. Our next mower will likely be another Exmark. These things are tanks!

  Hey Ben wondering if there was an update on these? They are literally three times the price of other tie down kits like Erickson and wondering if they are worth it? Something I noticed right away is that you do not have to ratchet them like other competitors. That may give these a big time advantage over other similar systems.

  We used them for about a year and a half before we needed to replace. About the same as the tiedowns we buy at Tractor Supply....only 3 times the price. We did not reorder. They're ok....but the price. We can get the same use out of the cheaper ones.

  @@ACMEMowing Thanks for responding Ben. Can you tell me why you needed to replace? I noticed one of the advantages to this system is you can purchase the straps separate from the chocks. They are just under $30 so still not cheap but not a huge deal.

  We sent out EDDM cards last season. A few mailings. That combined with our little signs we put in client's lawns got us started. Landing a few HOAs also helped a lot. Those HOAs are picky who they allow in their properties. Getting these contracts is a golden ticket into the neighborhood. And honestly, there was a ton of luck as well. Word of mouth and a ton of advertising on our town's Facebook page (I hate Facebook) got them where they are today.

  Two spray crews and a mowing crew this season so far. We could easily add more mow properties if we had a second mow crew. Miguel and Walter are working long days as it is and barely getting our scheduled done. If we added more mows we'd need more people. We'd prefer to add more Weed Control clients. The money is so much better spraying and throwing fertilizer. So much easier too. They are pretty maxed with the spraying as well. JT is talking about another crew soon. I love watching this seed that JT and I planted back in November of 2017 grow into the ACME that is today. I never thought I'd live to see this company reach the success it has. I'm a proud dad.
