Thanks for vid mate, really enjoyed it,
So, the question is, why did you irresponsible mor*ns decide it was a good idea to drive a muddy track?
Hi Glen, if you must know the driver actually accidently mistook some directions and wasn't supposed to drive down there. But perhaps we've performed another slight upon the universe to earn the uncalled-for ire.
@@DrivingWithDoug Very glad to hear it was a mistake, happy to be wrong. The ire is anything but uncalled for when wank*rs deliberately wreck wet tracks for their own selfish fun. Although the question still remains, how hard is it to stop & turn around when you can see wet conditions coming up ahead?
Love the safety thongs you are wearing in the section with the mud tracks 😅
What psi in tge tyres?
The HDC may do a decent job of descent control, but the name is Hill Descent Control, not Hill Decent Control (as in the title of your video).
Oh my haha nice pickup!
Hi Doug. Just seen you on the M1 heading South. What are you up to. No recent vids?
The joys of working I am afraid! Whilst I have footage around for several videos, I've not been blessed with the time needed to edit them :( Hopefully however I'll have another video out before the end of the year :)
Which is the best way to get to destination at 10:00 of this vid? Great vid Doug 👌
I wish I had seen this video a week ago. I almost crashed while reversing down a rocky hill, vehicle slipped while braking 😢
Lost me at invasion day comment.
Can never seem to find any of the good tracks in Mount Mee?
I’m ur biggest fan ur videos always put a smile on my face
Where that 4wd rack
Hey mate where abouts is the archer link break. Can't seem to find it on the maps
Should be on google maps, look for the archer camping area d'agular national park and just to the left of that.
6:40 A track? Diff locked?
Yep, diff lock in the Amarok and LSD in the Patrol
Where about is the water hole @17min?
Great work! Really enjoyed your video and appreciate the effort you put into it. Regards from South Africa.
Subbed with Doug!
But is the amarok a really a 4x4 🤣
I mean yes, and no, but yes
make sure you tell everyone to dispose of rubbish respectfully, dont dump it in the forest, like most of the muppetts.
100% you're spot on there. It's a shame how much rubbish can be found in some spots these days. Very sad to see that kind of behavior.
Well done, great video Doug, that was actually commercial TV Quality stuff.
Thanks mate! Really appreciate it. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
@@DrivingWithDoug That fault with the lamd cruiser at the start was interesting. I get that code as well occasionally. I have a scan gage that just resets it. Now i know to change out the sensor.
The ruts in the Simmo are mostly caused by vehicles with incorrect tyre pressures - 14-18 psi is what most recommend
Hi Drew, yea that's an excellent point! Our convoy ended up lowering to around 16psi average after the first dune. 20 - 22 was to high.
Agree wrong tyre pressures in this video
There's an upload here on KZread of a classic Range Rover doing Big Red in reverse gear.
Crazy! Love the classic rovers such an awesome car.
Great content mate really good.
Really good quality video mate! I hope to do this trip one day soon
You need too learn how to spell Aussie not Aussy.
Thanks for pointing out the typo. These things happen when you're trying to plan, produce, film, edit and publish content with one person :)
Can you offer information on how to find this link track Hoping to do it this weekend 22/01/2022 with a mate for his birthday (Yes I know it will be damp) 5" lift 80 series twin locked with all the gear
Great video
Just subscribed, thanks for the upload
Beautiful area with so many places to visit and see.
Great area to visit and thanks for sharing your tips also Doug.
Hey mate, you think a forester with 9.8inch of clearance can go here? Like maybe an easier trail? I don’t mind getting bogged 100x as long as the car doesn’t get damaged😊
enjoyed the footage. We are looking for a 4WD club in Western Sydney where they accomodate for outback caravans travelling to remote areas & camping off grid. Very difficult to find. If you know of a club let me know. Thanks
Hi Preston, unfortunately I don't know a lot of clubs in NSW. However I recommend trying to search for a group or club on Facebook. Lots of clubs don't have websites and operate groups on there. Best of luck and hope you can get out travelling soon!
One of the best short films of the Simo mate, well done!!
Cracker watch mate. Thoroughly enjoyed along with your commentary 👌
mate crakin video. enjoyed it very much
You should definitely link Imbul to Connondale and Finish in Bellthorpe. Did a lap through there earlier this year, it's around 90km of easy 4wding. Shoot me a PM if you want more dets
Thanks! Great video!
I really liked your channel until you totally deprived your toast of Vegemite! Saddle up next time buddy.
I like driving with Doug because he has the correct car fitted with the correct bullbar just like me!
the ducks nuts mate, great video- beautiful cinematography. Great time mate. keen for the next session
Well put together bud. Its a great place to enjoy nature. keep up the informative videos.
What a top bloke and Content creator. Get after it
Awesome shots!! Looking forward to seeing the next one :)
Wow. Great work Doug. Very enjoyable.
Great work Doug I particularly like the mention of things that might attract people to an area besides just getting to send it on some tracks. Laid back approach with a bit of diversity is a top notch way of doing a video 👌🏼👍🏼
Nice work, Doug! You should change your last name to Leyland! Keen to join you out on the tracks sometime.
Good content mate. Would love to join you sometime. Keen to see more.
Thanks! For sure mate.
