I still prefer St Anger over Load even if it sounds like they recorded it in a grain tower .

Chad sucks. What the fuck is that poser ass 'rockstar' music video of him prancing around trying to look badass, I can't imagine anything that is less CKY than that corny shit. Bam also sucks.

And Justice, is their best album, for many reasons. But the Lyrical content is the cake. James somehow put every Mustaine philosophical lyric on one album and it was crushing. I love forward bass playing in general, but every Add Justice for Jason mix, etc etc, i chose the original. If anything I would only have brought up the bass a tiny bit. It had to be what it is. The music is sick, but the lyrics are the thing. Black album, whatever, Load all that, i skipped it. No fks given. I have however recently listened to ST Anger, on and while i just heard the radio tracks or skimmed each album, there was just much better going on all those years. But sometimes it just has to be the right time. And some of the more recent songs in 20 years are pretty friking good. Atlas Rise, the Day that Never comes etc. Their very best sht that should go down in history and 100 years from now be enjoyed is Nothing Else Matters. That is a perfect, legendary amongst all legendary songs ever written. ...In all of music or poetry for that matter. It's more than just a song.

In that interview they mentioned that the next single was "THEY CAN'T SEE ME" with George Clinton for HS. It was never released. When 2Pac made All Eeyz On Me, Suge had Dre's and Cube's vocals removed and Pac did his thing.

Drawn out repetition kills this album. All of the songs are too long. None get to the point when they need to. It's a shame, because I think the raw aesthetic of the album suits the band pretty well.

Metallica made fun of Nirvana and AiC and then a few years later as bloated corp rock act running out of ideas, tried to copy AiC sound & look. The Memory Remains is one of their best songs...that MF part is just perfection. Reload should've followed Black.

I believe Metallica were so great and ahead of their time at their craft that a great Metal music producer didn't exist to actually push their music with the same production quality as the black album. Even now i still maintain this position, though i think now there are plenty of producers that could do that but now it comes to the band to stand up to the challenge.

I'm a MetallicA fan since 2001 and I really like Load & Reload. The fact that albums with a totally different tone and vibe belong to the same band is great in my opinion. Besides the "filler" here and there like 'Cure' (which my friends and I kinda hated) , ''Ronnie' on Load they are very much appreciated albums and I think most MetallicA fans feel similarly. Now if you ask me to pick a top 3 albums from MetallicA I'll have to go Master of Puppets, Black Album and Justice (altering the order would be understandable too ). Unfortunately the band never was able to deliver good rock solid albums like Load , Reload or the previous trash-era ones after S&M. Death Magnetic had a glimpse of this but I feel it fell short too.

i think if anything screams that they're sellouts, it's not Load or Reload or even St. Anger, it's Death Magnetic and their attempt to rebrand themselves as what they were with Justice and prior that and the fucking lunchboxes they sold on their website at the time. t-shirts, jackets, hats, fine. fucking lunchboxes? how could you see that and not think they sold out?

There is something wrong with it, not because Kurt was beyond criticism or mockery, it's just fucked up to mock the dead so soon where their family will have to see it. That's just my opinion. It's also James opinion since he regrets it.
