Careful there Magnus , Gukesh is now the future world champion
who's here after gukesh won the 2024 Candidates Tournament?
The commentary completely sucks! Levy can't even play any chess. He has no business being involved in the game other than the suckers who subscribe to his channel. The tall chinese guy and the two european women who used to do the commentary were the best team to handle commentary. Hess and maybe Naroditsky aren't good enough to handle commentary either.
Great commentaries ! Thanks !
@Blayd9 1:00:38 commented on live these 2 passed pawns look dangerous to me
Vidit ha pensato molto alla sua prima mossa, non capisco!
wtf is in magnus’s mouth
*PromoSM*
Korschnoi loves the French defense !
Im not chess expert could someone explain to me how Ding won at 1:11:30 what happened
ian resigned because there is no way to stop the black pawn from promoting and the white king is so exposed
wheres Peter Leko? him and Judit together would be epic
Magnus not being in the candidates is like watching a bunch of mids.
Firouzja the farmer 😂
Judit is a fantastic analyst. 24:28 - 24:31 ??? What happened?
Girl making up a story of the rarest pokemon card…
Эти бланки советские, еще в ссср были, и по нынешнее время сохранились, только покрасивше хотя смысл тотже
Giri is a great commentator. Good speed, good insight, and seamlessly puts in references to other games and players.
Ding's not much of a world champion.
"Richard Rapport" you can hardly make it more french despite the fact that he's somehow not french
Y'all leave them kids alone.
I'm curious where are the security protocols here. There's multiple camera guys right behind them, which is incredibly distracting and unprofessional (speaking as a professional videographer myself), and a woman walking behind them with her mobile phone taking videos and photos while they're playing. Unbelievable how unprofessional that is, and any of those devices could be used for cheating, especially the woman with the mobile phone. How is that allowed?
Pedro Loos ta brabo no xadrez em!
The more i watch mvl the more im suspicious of him of cheating in online chess its so different in on board game
the Magnus effect strikes again
Richard's biggest loss was in the first 10 seconds.
Those kids are the reason Richard lost. It's all he could think about.
Here to say Hans the goat lol
Stupid children denying the handshake to Mister Rapport
Who is won
Disappointed Rappaport didn't go for it with 3.Be3!?
Richard missed his move. Magnus got very lucky. But Magnus forever gives himself opportunities to get lucky. He fights his endgames like a cornered badger.
It's so sad seeing Richard getting denied the handshake at the beginning
I felt that man ):
True 😢
He seems to be a great guy.
That was painful. They only had eyes for Magnus 😢
Bruh those are darn kids
was war das für eine Mist Anzeige
@JSSTyger 0 seconds ago Here I am saying "why didn't Magnus play that?" Then I check out my move and it makes a completely winning position a dead draw.
Please, on every event people should reminds kids to handshake both players, that was hard to watch. I know they arent being mean, but they must know if they are going to make the first move of an important chess game
Agreed, the kids just needed to have someone supervising to say "Ok, now you can make the first move on the board, now you can shake Magnus' hand, Ok, now shake Richard's hand, Ok, now we need to leave". Why is that difficult? It just makes me feel so bad for Richard who is an incredible player, but didn't even get a hand shake.
Clown comment, get a grip.
That Guy Lawrence is the horrible moderator all time, and has no idea abouth other planet chess playing in front of him.
Agreed, Trent can be so smarmy and cringy. An IM can be a great host and complement a GM’s analysis by asking good questions, translating higher level ideas to less strong chess players, and managing the time and flow of conversation. But he is HORRIBLE at this! He oscillates between overconfident proclamations and abject self-flagellation at lighting speed and sucks up so much of the energy making things about himself. And trying too hard to be impressive or funny… he just needs to chill out a bit and be more humble and curious. Would improve by leaps and bounds.
Oh, so funny. Carlsen gets a handshake from the kids and a glass of water. And Rapport gets..? :).
It was hard to watch those kids didnt handshake Rapport, but that was on the kids, none even realized apart from Richard. The glass of water probably Magnus asked for it, i mean, it's known that every chess player can drinks whatever they want while they play, except alcohol of course
@@juliocadavid6640 magnus doesn't drink alcohol while playing?
@@juliocadavid6640get a grip. They would’ve have shaken Magnus’ hand if he didn’t offer it, they were ready to leave after moving the piece. Quit being such a snowflake.
@@roryt1983 Rapport offered it a well 🙄
@@juliocadavid6640 once their eyes had already left the table to walk away as directed by the moderator
The electronic board being faster than the otb moves kind of make me mad 😡
Don’t be mad be sad, if you can turn anger to disappointment you have made a positive impact in life -Alain De Botton the Philosopher
@keeper brilliant!
@@keeperofthelight9681 I dont see how being disappointed changes anything in a positive way. The issue that caused the anger in the first place remains unchanged. Sounds to me like a way of justifying not doing anything to stop the downfall of things we deem important. Thoughts ?🤔
@@dansrod5952 Yes, I am now angry for we should be angry.
Dings eye blinking is like the lights on a computer flashing
I love his analysis ..it s amazingly informative
Anish is genius
grats to Ding
I hope that Trent and Gustafsson still make a living from coaching, because these guys are terrible commentators

Today's chess is as much about money as glory! 🏅
king c1. queen c6 check. white queen c3 . black pawn takes queen c3. white pawn takes pawn c3. black queen takes pawn c3 check. king d1. bishop b3 checkmate.
Beautiful place
Game of Ding and Vincent was the most strange and exciting endgame I ever seen .
Why is Lawrence Trent commentating? He is completely at sea.
1:53:19 😂 .. Good thing Magnus didn't see that look MVL gave him.. there'd be armageddon by combat then and there itself
