Do you recommend the Magic Bands? I see theyre $40pp online. Are the free kids suffice in your opinion?
We did not do magic bands, and I don’t think they’re worth it. You still will need your key to the world card to get on and off the ship rendering the magic band useless in that case.

I never do Disney transportation. It’s too expensive. If you do the math, it’s much more affordable to do rideshare with Uber or Lyft if you have a family with 3 or more people.

@@VictoriaChiappetta if you go to the Princess website and login with your username and password, you can find under your reservation the option to register your children for kids programming. It’s not very easy to navigate the website so if you’re unable to do it before you cruise, you can still register them on embarkation day. It will just take a little while to do on site at camp discovery.

Thanks for the helpful tips. Going on the Discovery Princess mid September and am glad to see I've made some pretty good choices for clothing. Cozy and comfy sounds perfect to me. I did find a pair of Sorel waterproof boots in white that look like hightop sneakers and wear like them too that I can't wait to sport around in! Safe travels.

Where is that waterfall located?We have excursions booked in each port but I haven’t seen this..
@@VictoriaChiappetta that waterfall is at Mendenhall glacier. The name of the waterfall is nugget Falls. You can book an excursion or take the public bus there and hike out to the Falls. It’s an easy hike.

Very good. I totally agree Disney needs to come into the 21st century regarding the mustard drill. We had a very bad experience on The Wish during this drill. Otherwise our cruise experience on The Wish was phenomenal 😊

I am so happy to see that the Fairy Godmothers still styled your girls' edges and found a way to work with their braids. Just came home from a cruise on the Summit back to back cruise. First cruise on Celebrity. Got very sick was down for 3 days, husband caught it first. A lot of cruisers got sick. Medical called it a stomach bug have to admit Medical was great. Food very spicey.

Not a good tip telling people to arrive 1 hr early to port…9 times out of 10 you will be waiting outside for the hour.
I actually asked a port agent who said you can actually wait inside as long as the previous cruise has already disembarked. It largely depends on the staff each sailing.
