To kill the joke, the Four Corners offense is a late '70's college basketball strategy. LSU I think used it (refuses to check; who needs the internet!!!) You see, college at the time had no shock clock...the 24 seconds the offense had to score before the ball is turned over to the opposing team. So they would put their best guy (drafted higher than Bird!!) in the center and the guys would go to the corners and they would just wear the other teams' defense down! Guess what? They added shock clocks. Steve was referencing the fact they did not have a timetable and was taking a long time to make their choices on who goes where and when.
Somebody help me out here: how does he get out and down to ground level and back up?
It sure sounded pretty hectic on that day or night! I see why their job is so stressful!
Lol, the Asiana222 is yet to figure what would the ATC report them for 😂
Kennedy Steve was collaborative, she’s confrontational. 😒
I miss Kennedy Joanna- she’s amazing.
I wonder which US airport is the favorite of international pilots.
Kennedy Jack bustin some balls 😂
Is this Kennedy Joanna??
I love her! What’s her name? Kennedy “??”
Who’s this ATC? Kennedy “??”
Wow the lack of respect they showed her 😨
So who is this ATC? Kennedy “??”
Kennedy Jack needs a snickers 😂
Joanne's the greatest. One of the best ATC's I've heard
There was also a bird strike heard in the video
Delta208 calling back to say they were "fully ready" killed me. 🤣
I love it when controllers interject their little snide remarks. ... Very unprofessional, IMO.
Welcome to New Yawk
No one can replace Kennedy Steve's wit
Newcomer here...I have no idea where everyone is going! I need a road map...🙄
That's some good organisation going on there. Kudos to that controller.
Behind the NOT heavy 757....
So is it heave or not I thought due to the wake turbulence it's classified as a heavy?
The 757 has a MTOW below the standard for a "heavy aircraft", however it is generally treated as a heavy for wake turbulence purposes.
I could feel that controller's disapointment: "Okay ladies and gentlemen. That was like 5 at once. Please one at a time" *Still choose to talk over each other* The controller: >_>
"Left on Lima" "You mean right on Lima?" "Oh yeah, right. Right on Lima" "Yeah, left would not be good..." Lol I love JFK
Good situational awareness
Controller did say right initially; The aircraft misheard him.
@@C.I... hmm.. all the more reason to confirm via a read back
Ramp controllers are still incompetent, I see.
Heya! New upload after I took some time to rest. Enjoy!😊🙋🏻♂
Welcome back!
welcome back, I enjoy these videos a lot, so if you can, keep them coming :-)
At least it was A340. I wonder if the poor pilot could reach the tank closures of A380.
Instead of Austin 3:16, the ATC community should have Kennedy Steve 0:24 t-shirts…on the back “let the abuse start”
what does heavy mean?
l😅ndbergh 6290?😂😂😂
How many hours a day does a person do this?
You know the pilots loved him. A little comic relief never hurts
0:02 I have found out the bird is the word lol. It’s equal or greater than the word.
After 25 wonderful years as an ATC, Kennedy Steve is now ramp manager at Terminal 1 at JFK.
Probably the smoothest run terminal in the country.
I bet pilots still miss Steve. A comic relief sometimes just when it's needed
“which taxiway WILL you enter the ramp?” 😂
I miss Steve. The communications freqs are just not the same without him.
I have only recently discovered this and it is just wonderful. Only improvement I could suggest would be a background map of the ground at JFK. Oh! I kept on scrolling through the comments, and the second such one presented actually does work, the one from flight aware. so thank you.
OMG he has Delta Tug 2 nailed
I dont understand aviation language but i still do enjoy these conversations! Still laugh at what im able to grasp

I really want to know what's going on in that Tower. :D
Forgive me for asking this question but I'm new to this. Why would a pilot ask for what direction he should face? I'm working on getting my pilot's license and reviewing these to familiarize myself with atc transmissions.
That must have been TrumpAir
I absolutely love how he can crack jokes, talk to the pilots, and still get everything done quickly and efficiently. A true master of his craft.
I'm not sure why, but I can't get enough of listening to Kennedy Steve run that Circus. Just saying...
Still enjoy listening to Kennedy Steve

Pretty sure Steve is more entertaining to listen to than the tower.
is "ramp and "dispatch .. the same radio freqncy? (same thing?
