Goodness me polar opposite of Clapton! We didn't audition either of these titans. John Mayall did.

At 2:06 you can hear a knocking on the door.Thats Lightnins wifes cousin lurkimg outside the door with a pistol because apparently Lightnin and his wife had had a bad fight and her cousin showed up with a gun and from the story I read Lightnin also had a large pistol on him stuffed down the front of his pants.

Nobody, nobody played blues guitar like Peter Green. Completely original and sublime.

E, si-l sieu cors volgues el mieu entendre Totz autres joys fora-n contra-l mieu mendre E ja d'un bais, si-l me volgues estendre No m'en feira tirar ni escoyssendre Chanso, vai t'en a mon Plus Lial rendre E diguas li qu'ieu sai dona a vendre A little song I'll now begin, Since Rossilhos did me win. Know, I believed the tale was true, But none of your friends I view. Of a young man, the world resounds, My lady's like a lion found! I know now the stones of Alzona make sound, When he who gives most shall enter the ground. Though once I had joy in her grace, Now I wish to shut the case. For I’d not wear a horned face, Even to rule a griffin’s place! Another one I hold so dear, Her words do comfort, bring me cheer. A fool is he who loves in lies, And she who strays deserves goodbyes. But if she were a lioness, I’d give her a horse well-dressed. No man can from her strength progress, Unless he shows the same prowess! My lady's deal, it was quite poor, For riches turned her from what’s pure. Had I known wealth would sway her more, I’d have received the wage I bore. Others will grant her gifts so fine, But worth as much as this of mine. But she scorns songs, and turns away, Claiming I seek to praise her high. She does not wish to be so famed, Or from afar to be acclaimed! She’d rather lose me, true and bold, Than have her beauty falsely sold. To Baut defore, I send this part, For with her I’ll not share my heart. And in this, I’ve suffered pain, For to my truth, she gives disdain. False shield, so quick to break in two, None dares rely on strength in you! I raised you high, now you descend, Your honor to a shameful end. Alas, I die for longing still, For the beauty who is good-willed. She is so fine, without deceit, Never loving a bastard cheat! If she would love me as I love, No joy could be compared above. A single kiss, if she would share, Would bind me fast beyond compare. Go, my song, to my most loyal friend, And tell her that I know a heart to mend.

This song has a little flavor of the Shang Dynasty music in ancient China. I heard Indians in the South America are descendants of the lost Shang Dynasty army. Is it real?
