Should I get before mods? Or after mods. Wondering if stock part will be reliable. Before I get an ams intake and lower down pipes and heat exchanger. Or should i stick with the ecutek Bluetooth one
You can get this before any mods, and then when you to install the mods, lets us know and we can remotely adjust the tuning file for the new components. If you do an Ecutek flash, you would need to pay for two files if you flash it before you install the mods, then again after.

Any drone on hwy?
Not at all! We design our systems to pass the wife test, as well as have no drone at any speeds. It gives the truck a nice grumble down low, and it really comes to life at wide open throttle.

Okay but what do I do with my stupid DDS sensors on the front shocks. I’ve heard of some finesse options of plugging the port with electrical tape and zip tying it to the speed sensor cable but I’m skeptical and sounds sketchy.
Sadly that is one of the best options with the DDS sensors unless you go with a full coil over that has a DDS connection. If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to our sales team and they would be happy to go into further detail and assist in getting you the perfect solution for your desired setup.
Can I run this with a jb4? Or nah
Although it is technically possible, it is not recommended to stack tunes on top of each other. If we thought the engine could take more power safely, we would have done so on the original tune file. Now we do offer tunes for supporting mods, just simply contact us and we will provide a new stronger map.

Although it is a similar board, the tuning file itself is completely different. We have one of their ex engineers on staff that writes us custom files for each application. We also offer custom tuning files for supporting mods, something RaceChip does not offer. Finally, we do all of our R&D on US models with US rated gasoline. Europe has different (higher) octane rating, and most of their cars come with a gas particulate filter, something the US models do not, so that does change the way their files function compared to ours as well here in the states.
I know jb4 is CARB executive order is this one too? Not many modifications are Carb certified it’s a bummer
I don't believe the JB4 for the Supra is CARB exempt, you may want to double check to confirm. At this point in time, our product is not, but it may be changed in the future.
With this piggyback do we have any more options in the app? Like with the JB4, there are maps that we choose from depending on our fuel. On this app there’s only the 3 that you mentioned at 6:59
That is a great question. The app has 3 different drive modes, eco, sport and race. However, there are 7 different maps available, and you can configure the app to have the desired map set to each drive mode. If you would like to run different fuels, just contact our support team and we can configure a custom file to work on 87, 89, 91, 93, 100 octanes, or even an E30 mix.

Another excellent question. Once you contact our team, just provide your order number. Each product is assigned a specific serial number that we then can access through a backend system. Our tuning expert will write a new file, then send it to the app via our backend system. Simply connect up to the device via bluetooth and you can then download the latest file through your phone. No need to remove the device, have any special cables, or software. Just our totally free app! We are working on an additional function to be able to data log and send us files through the app, but that is still being tested currently. The best part, that feature will be backwards compatible, so it is something you can upgrade to at a later date once available if desired.

What does it do to MPG?
We have had customers report back a modest 2-3 MPG gains after installing the TruControl on their Tundra.
Any news on when a full ecu unlock is coming?? Really looking to get a used TRX or brand new tundra within the next two months but I would 100% go with the tundra knowing I can add some after market turbos and tune past 550whp
At this point in time, we are just going to be offering the piggy back tuners for the Tundra.

Will it remove the speed limiter if not no interest
Sadly no, it does not remove the speed limiter. I am pretty sure, if not positive, no one has cracked these ECUs yet, so there is no way to remove the speed limiter at this point in time to the best of my knowledge. Keep in mind, if you do remove it, you do void your factory warranty.

Does this interfere with the shutters?
No it does not. We updated the design back in 2022 to work with the factory shutters!

Nice review, would you recommend awd or rwd for best performance
RWD and AWD depend on what you are looking to do with the vehicle. If you want the best handling, the AWD version will be better. If you want a faster car in a straight line, the RWD version would be better as you dont have as much parasitic loss through the drivetrain. However, if you plan on upping the HP a significant amount, the AWD version would put the power down better in a straight line. If it is just a fun daily, I would go with the RWD myself.
Just put on the lts pads on my ram1500 with new ebc slotted rotors. Can say it’s a great combo. Did the bedding process and brakes feel so much better and the truck is stopping way better than it ever had. The oem rotors were warped so hopefully this combo will last awhile.

love it but what about fuel trims?
Great question! Both short and long term fuel trims are monitored extensively during our dyno and road testing. We have a predetermined parameter that we keep the fuel trims within that we feel is a safe level, even with stock injectors and fuel pump. We are looking to achieve safe and reliable power without triggering any engine lights or damaging the drivetrain.
@@STILLENvids Thank you for the quick response. I figured you guys had a good handle on what the engine can safely do but what I mean't was since the system adds fuel as well as boost can the dealer tell by the higher fuel trims if recent in memory that something is going on.
Once you remove the device the car will revert right back to stock. Additionally, it is not high enough fuel trims for it too look too outside the norm. Like if you had poor fuel quality, a dirty air filter, small fuel leak, etc. It would not be enough information for them to point to the tune directly. We have even worked with a Toyota dealership, their GM, and the lead tech to do an experiment if they could find the tuner on the ECU once removed. No one in the service department could find anything to indicate it was installed.

No, not at all! Its a much more aggressive and rich sound than factory on both the MT and AT.
@@STILLENvidsDo any welds have to be done when installing?
No, it is actually a bolt on system. Including removing the factory exhaust! Totally do-able in a driveway or garage with some jack stands and a socket set. We even include a 3d printed spacer to help align the exhaust during installation. All of our exhausts are scanned by a computer and test fit in steel jigs to make sure it has perfect fitment every time.
