However, most medical schools ask that you have a minimum number of GCSEs within a range of grades for example 6-9 and they may even specify that certain subjects such as Maths and English Language be in this list. Your best bet would be going to the website of the medical schools you were looking to apply to and looking at their specific grade requirements. Hope that helps x

@medwithtem Жыл бұрын
Hey! Technically you could call first before declining but it just puts you in an awkward position if they say have places but you still hold offers because then they are unable to offer you anything. So my best advice would be to decline all offers before calling, but make sure you’ve weighed up all the pros and cons before doing so x
@medwithtem10 ай бұрын
Update! You do not need to decline all offers before calling the uni, you can wait till you receive another offer first but following this, you will have to decline any existing offer on UCAS Hub. Note: In my personal experience I was only eligible for an interview because I did not hold any other offers and the course had very limited spaces already

Hey, that should be okay! My lowest grade was a 4 in Spanish and I still managed to get in.
What were your gcse grades if u don’t mind sharing?

do we need to decline all the offers before calling the uni?
Hey! Technically you could call first before declining but it just puts you in an awkward position if they say have places but you still hold offers because then they are unable to offer you anything. So my best advice would be to decline all offers before calling, but make sure you’ve weighed up all the pros and cons before doing so x
Update! You do not need to decline all offers before calling the uni, you can wait till you receive another offer first but following this, you will have to decline any existing offer on UCAS Hub. Note: In my personal experience I was only eligible for an interview because I did not hold any other offers and the course had very limited spaces already
What app do you use for the notes @0:18?
Hey! My screen was split at that point and the left hand side was the online textbook of the Oxford Handbook of Geriatric Medicine and the right hand side was Anki :)
