    After i plug the router and connect it to my wifi what do i do can i unplug it and take it to my room? Or do i have to buy more and connect them with eachother?

    Hi there! The first router needs to be close to the modem because it has to be plugged into it. You should be able to move any other routers to your room after setup.

    I'm unable to get in touch with support and I've tried putting 128 GB SD card into the camera and it won't detect it. I put the same exact card into another Wyze camera and it's recognized no problem. I'm only able to put a 32 GB card into the floodlight pro. Do I have a faulty unit?

    U guys really should talk about & show how to replace the belt in the vacuum head. This has become very problematic & people, like me, don't want to break their vacuum because it's so tough to open. The brush stops spinning & there isn't much shown on how to troubleshoot it. Bad idea not to include that information.

    Hi there! You can turn off cloud recording by going to the camera's settings, and then tapping Event Recording. Here, you can toggle motion and sound detection OFF to turn off cloud recording.

    Be careful when you subscribe to Cam Unlimited, Wyze automatically include all your cams and removed the option to chose which cam you want on Unlimited. That could push you over your bandwith limit and incure extra cost from your internet provider. This is complete nonsense

    Qr codes do not work in daylight ... offer alternate.methods to not have to "wait until evening" as wyze instructions dictate. Then get ready to pay for the rest of your life for wyze "forced" cloud dis-services that "fix" missing functionality that is crippled by wyze.

    Hi there. While Wyze devices aren't geo-locked, some features such as Cam Plus will be unavailable without a U.S. or Canadian billing address.

    any news on the user sharing and permissions feature? Trying to give my wife and son access to camera history without sharing out the whole account. Don't want any adjustments on settings, just want them to able to look at videos. This has been a feature request since 2017. I have the unlimited plan, many devices. Need this feature.

    Firmupdate 1.2.1.177 broke my strip light pro. It now either flashes yellow and turns off or doesnt respond.

    Wyze: I would HIGHLY suggest the next improvement sprint y’all do is being able to SWITCH WIFI networks WITHOUT having to delete ALL cameras and RESETTING THEM! This is EXTREMELY frustrating especially when you have 8 of y’all cameras. Side note: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that y’all made this feature!!

    I am always baffled as to why a company would go to the trouble to design, build, market a device, but can't be bothered to write a users guide for it. You will have to pick up the answers to your questions about this camera on the street. Even the app is basically undocumented. You just have to stumble around within it hoping you'll find the setting you need. Here are some examples of Wyze mysteries: How long does the camera record an event after the triggering event ceases? Is it 1 second, 1 minute - who knows? How many minutes/hours/days can one expect to record per GB. on each of the 3 resolution options? Does this record in H.264 or H. 265 compression? Will the camera restart recording after a power outage? Must it be connected to wifi to record? I'm retired. My career was in IT. I understand how management places no value at all on documentation, always wanting to create the next device or application. But some of us customers care.

    What would make it a no brainer to me, is if its works with apple home kit. Would like to have the best of both worlds. I love that HomeKit cameras appear on my Apple TV when motion is detectes and notifications enable

    The camera will have connection issues all the time. This is not a very reliable camera, especially when you need it. It will not work. The app does not connect. There is no internet connection. The support is very poor. Do yourself a favor and avoid this at all costs. This will give you tons of headaches. Save your money and buy something better. I wouldn't trust this company again.

    Okay, goofy af editing/pacing aside, I seriously love this approach to demonstrating the practicality of your security products not just at home, but for businesses too. It makes sense to offer the ability to see more than one camera view at a time in groups especially on a timeline that users can easily scrub through to get a better idea of what events happen. I also appreciate the details about how your company works and the goals you have. I won't lie, the structure of staged segments along with the sappy editing gives me bad memories from countless Kickstarter videos and the like, but 7 years is amazing for how much this xompany has grown. I love your products and I appreciate the pricing which is why I always recommend Wyze to friends who need easy and affordable home monitoring. I just hope with a wireless and cloud-optional system that Wyze doesn't ever suffer similar data breeches and hackings like Ring and so many orher home security smart systems have. I do think if Wyze is going to try and appeal more to businesses that they create an easy-to-install 360° fisheye style camera perfect for hallway intersections, above cash registers, or even outdoor corners. I see so many places from colleges, airports, staff-less convenient stores and parking garages using those expensive AXIS comms panoramic 4 cam system to reduce the amount of cameras they need in every corner if they can have a 4K panoramic 360 of the room which is something I hope Wyze could experiment with on a slightly more cost-effective but premium scale while still being practical. Also learning that the Wyze home security system can be bypassed with a loss of both power and internet was a very concerning realization when learning that my COX home security system had a built-in battery and SIM for cell service to still work in the event of no power/internet. I do think a home intercom button that could trigger every device speaker simultaneously for announcement-use would be helpful as well. Also I'm a bit pissed to learn that it took Wyze 3 versions of a doorbell to incorporate local SD storage, only to place it in an objectively awful spot when it's designed to give the owner peace of mind that they can control their security only to show in the ad where the card is stored. Yes, this is just as much a flaw as any of the other Wyze cam products but a doorbell is right there at eye-level, not something hanging above you against the wall. The mere fact that Wyze didn't work to make the more expensive doorbell less easy to steal and then flip as stolen tech is alarming unless they just don't care but honesly, I like my v1 doorbell for being cheap, easy to install wirh the hidden MicroUSB and some screws; it just sucks at making calls and connecting in time using wifi 2.5ghz. Also having the Cam Pan v3's tracking enabled by default upon setup feels like a cruel prank or something for people with anxiety because holy shit is it unsettling to see a camera checking you out moments after getting the thing set up, please fix that I'm not joking it's just creepy. Complaints aside, I love your business model and I hope to see more amazing products to come with reasonable pricing rsther than going the way of OnePlus+ and their customer-base.

    Avoid Wyze cams… I have several; all of which stop working within a few months … their customer service is sub par; I wouldn’t take a new one for free .. the video sucks, audio is laughable … did I mention their customer service sucks? Good luck if you don’t believe me and buy these things

    Honestly shocked that Wyze hasn't broken into the dashcam market with their affordable and practical products. Would probably give Nexar a run for their money.
