Simply one of the best films ever. Broderick Crawford Was astonishing in it. John Hughes cleverly pieced together a blockbuster. Love the Script. A Masterpiece Achievement. Love all the actors, they performed so well. The John Lennon Song -- Twist and Shout -- was the Topping on this Cake. Loved the whole Parade. A film that makes you Happy.

If there’s ever a remake, it should be about their children doing the same. But I agree

I havent finished the video yet, but so far i'm glad these scenes were taking out. I like how in the movie brad pitts character doesnt really care about what anyone else thinks as long as he and Pete know they are doing the right thing / what makes sense to them , so that they can change the game of baseball or the way it should viewed .

Sliding the sample set from 182 down to 7 adds in variability and that's why they didn't win. I've always said the work is to punch your ticket to the playoffs then it's a whole lot of luck.

What distinguishes a great movie from the also rans, is being able to watch the movie over and over again, still enjoy the movie every time and often spotting something never noticed before. Love the scene where Broderick is singing the Beetles song in the street. Makes me want to get up and dance every time! Please tell me that did not wreck an actual Ferrari.

The Thermians awkwardly shuttle in and out of scenes, and I'm not talking about how they walk. The movie focuses so hard on the human actor characters, that it barely makes physical room to hold the Thermians.

Ferris Bueller was written for Anthony Michael Hall. He didn't take the role because he had already done several John Hughes movies & was worried about being type cast.

The Koba shotgun scene could have been one of the greatest post-credit scenes in movie history. 1. They show the plane that the neighbor got on carrying the ALZ virus, with one of the coolest and horrifying shots of the movie. 2. The Koba shotgun scene foreshadowed his eventual rise to power setting up the next film, and it makes Ceazer realize that apes and humans are very much alike.
