Now I am REALLY questioning if I got the wrong bike, as I will be terrified to modify anything and stock just isnt a 43k bike....

  Hopefully what is getting done to the M1000RR is because you WANT to get it done and not because you HAVE to get it done! As an owner of one, I am REALLY interested!! We truly need to get an owners group together to keep each other informed of whats happening with that bike....dropped over 40k on it and while I LOVE IT, its truly going to be a bad day if we all regret it...between rear shock issues, front shock issues, weeping water pumps, MOTOR issues, and then BMW denying warranty and basically daring people to take them to court (they are going to end up like Harley and in trouble and have to reach out to every owner just like HD did) its rapidly turning into a regrettable decision to buy one. I TRULY hope they dont live up to their name Big Money Wasted...as it will be heartbreaking if they do....

  ALL bikes have issues....HD, Ducati, Aprillia, BMW....they ALL have issues, but how the dealer takes care of you will make ALL the difference. I would rather get a recall and get it fixed than them to hedge thier profit margin and leave a us all waiting to see if thier issues start hurting sales..

  Once you tune it, you will gain like 60hp in the midrange and it will wheelie just fine after that. Issue is that it totally voids your warranty according to BMW>... I jsut got my M1000RR 12 days ago so I am in the same boat as you....gonna do about a 1000 miles on it and hope the motor and everything is good to go before tuning it and getting an exhaust...its a great bike in the twisties, even restricted, its REALLY planted...so I love it in the turns, but REALLY gotta get the nanny tune off of it first and hten slap a BT tune on it after I am comfortable that the motor wont let loose.

  You might be interested in a video I’ll be dropping in the next week or two of something that happened to the M less than 1k miles in, as a matter of fact the bike being completely stock the warranty was almost revoked by BMW. So far loving the bike but def waiting on the BT on this bike until I know it’s zero issues coming my way.

  @@s1krrafa Dude....if it went sideways you gotta get the video out there....as these are hitting showroom floors now...my local dealer got 3 (all were sold within 2 weeks) and my dealer an hour or so away got 1 that sold immediately....so guys are getting them now and if they are ticking time bombs we truly gotta get the news out for sure. If you got pushback from BMW on it and hadnt even modified it yet, thats NOT GOOD....considering its a 36 month warranty!!

  I run a 23S1K stage 2 full system and sprint filter i did 203 on the dyno got bren stacks it dropped to 197.. BMW stacks and stage 2 is all you need .. good numbers with qll the heat and humitity add 5-7% of hp

  Yeah not sure why for some reason, there is lack of hp when the stacks are added and remapped.
