Neuro Challenge Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers. We serve people in Pinellas, Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte Counties and beyond.
WHAT WE DO: Neuro Challenge provides ongoing monthly support groups and educational programs, individualized care advising and community resource referrals to help empower people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers with A Better Approach to Parkinson's. All Neuro Challenge programs and services are provided at no charge. This is made possible thanks to our many partners and generous donors in the communities we serve.

Is there a different type of Dopamine Agonist recommended with Parkinson’s Plus?? My father who a certain type of Parkinson’s Plus - is having terrible reactions to Carbodopa/ Levidopa.. hallucinations, severe constipation- but without it lacks dopamine and not getting out of bed the same.. So needing something else as a Dopamine Agonist that doesn’t cause the horrific REM disturbed sleep issues and more.. Any recommendations are appreciated 🙏🏽

I've seen a video with a Parkinson's patient that had trouble opening a door with a key that's an intention tremor so why did that video show that as a Parkinson's tremor?

Where are the slides on this video?! Since my PD dx last year, I have watched many videos of medical conferences and seminars online, and this one is the most ignorant yet, not showing us the slides! On ANY such medical video, we don't need to see the speaker! Who cares what they look like? Put up the slides for the duration, and quit showing us the speaker, except during the introduction. Come on, lets be smart to do the most good. We NEED this information, so we can learn! Thanks!

Sir my father has a tremor when he holds something or when he moves his hand also a MRI showed that he has shoulder labral tear can that be the reason or should we still suspect parkinson's ? We are too scared
