  I usually put a blow dryer over my engine to make sure its nice and warm. If anything I might use a bucket of hot water.

  Sorry - I am sure there are ozone issues during the summer. But, January and February are inversion months!!! Is the move from February to July really going to get more impact? Or is this related to COVID and more people working remote right now? As I look over the haze outside today - It's extremely noticeable. Pulling up the KSL Weather Air Quality web page, I see the majority of the air stations showing unhealthy - sensitive groups/orange - with some showing unhealthy / red - I'm trying to remember when these stations around the valley show orange during the summer.

  Ozone is much less visible so it's easier to focus on PM 2.5 during inversions. Based on EPA's AQI (Air Quality Index) scale, we've had more unhealthy for sensitive and unhealthy days during the past few summers than we have in the winters. This can change depending on long inversion events or summer wild fires, but I support the move from February to July. It's also important to note that we still take mitigating actions during inversions such as bans on outdoor fires and free UTA days.

  i was actually looking for the technical reason on why car manufacturers programm a cold start in the first place, as the video title implied that i would find this information here, not "why a cold start or cars period ar bad for the environment" 🙄 thumbs down for missleading title and environmental propaganda 👎
