Are you a historian or linguist? If you're teaching this as African history, you're miseducating your viewers. *The so-called "Bantu languages" falls in the realm of linguistics, NOT history* , and although _the whole _*_Bantu Expansion Theory_*_ remains disputed_ , the Bantu concept should only be taught and challenged by experts within linguistics. I'm a Kenyan linguist and I'll make a few corrections to your video nonetheless: 📌 By saying "The Bantu People" you're implying they are an ethnicity. There is no such thing as "Bantu People" in Africa, but there are Zulu people, Xhosa people, Tswana people (all in Southern Africa) and Kikuyu people, Luhya people, Kamba people (all in East Africa). These are unique ethnicities that are often erroneously thought to be a single large ethnicity called "Bantu People" which remains to be a *DISPUTED* ethnicity. 📌 By saying "Bantu language" (singular form) you're implying that there is a language spoken somewhere in Africa called Bantu, which is WRONG. However, there is Zulu language, Xhosa language, Tswana language (all in Southern Africa) and Kikuyu language, Luhya language, and Kamba language (all in East Africa). These are unique languages that happens to be grouped together as "Bantu languages" which is, again, a *DISPUTED* language group* . 📌 There are three (3) reason why all those two terms above are DISPUTED. *Firstly, it is because Bantu is a linguistic topic being wrongly taught as history of Africa* . Linguistics and history aren't one. *Secondly, the whole Bantu Expansion Theory violates the most basic rules that determines language groups around the world* . These rules are beyond the scope of my reply to your video and would take a whole page to outline and explain. *Thirdly, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the whole Bantu Expansion Theory is actually a European invention, NOT African* . This theory was invented by *Wilhelm Bleek* , a Dutch settler in Southern Africa. We don't need to explain why it's wrong for Europeans to write African history or even group them linguistically. It is your responsibility as an African scholar to avoid miseducating your folk. Have a nice day.

Yes, some scholars and analysts attribute the combustible and radical idiosyncrasies of South Africans to the effect of oppressive structures, obnoxious tortures, rapacious exploitation, racialised systems, and bitter experiences they have been through since the incursion and domination of their land by the Europeans in the 19th century.
