Thank you! I found it daunting to try alone so I took it back to the store I bought it at and the sales guy was able to snap in open alone, but I was definitely not strong enough to do it myself. I wish I would have found this video prior to assembly though. I did reassure me that it was put together correctly!

Ok it worked great for me. After watching several videos with mixed results I followed this procedure. Pulling the eggs out of the ice water after 10 minutes. I pierced the sharp end of the eggs 3 times in different places I did not hold back as an opening for the air to enter the egg must be made. Then I cracked the round end of the egg by hiring it firmly (not hard) about 3 times cracking the egg in an area as big as the opening in the Eggstractor’s tower orifice. Egg is placed on the tower pointy end up and the accordion on top. I activated the accordion with a sharp but controlled blow. The egg made a satisfying pop sound as it flew out the bottom of its the Eggstractor tower. For 11 eggs, 3 needed a little piece of shel pulled off (but it was already loose), 7 came out perfect, and only one was mangled. This is a much better outcome than when I peel them by any other method. I lost 3 eggs in the boiling and did not attempt to eggstract them.

My MightyMule is probably 10 years old and it works great. Just replace the battery every 2 or 3 years so far.

I'm being kind when I say this stuff is crap. It didn't do a thing for you, and when some of the other people on KZread are sponsored do they send them a special formula that works miracles that the formula from Walmart doesn't? Because what I purchased off the shelf at the store does not do a dorn thing. It did not take out even the most barely visible swirl marks, let alone a scratch. Who conducted the study that generated their slogan "#1 BEST SELLLING..."? I can sell a million bottles of air and claim it will take out scratches, and it will end up being the #1 selling bottle of air for that day, but I guarantee no one will ever buy it again, and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will never buy this crap again. What I did buy went right in the trash where it belonged

Non stick spray (pam) contain propane or butane propellants, and silicone )(info from The spruce eats) that's why you shouldn't ever use or consume it! Use regular oil not that poison.

If the bag is moist from the liquid where it seals before you vacuum, it will not seal. The seal area is “broken” Also with liquids once you put it in the vacuum chanel and close it, you have to hold it so gravity keeps the liquid from moving up.

Regular house bleach is around half the strength of 30 Seconds in terms of the bleach content. Get pool bleach and mix with water 1:1 and add 1/4 laundry soap and spray. It won’t evaporate as fast and the results will be closer to

First of all, no offence, you put the thermometer in wrong. The book tells you exactly how to put it in. Second, I would only let it reach about 160 or tiny bit less. Let it let it rest for 15 minutes and I promise it's safe to eat.
