There are good off strip hotels and casinos that have good and reasonable food and drink prices. Local residents can take advantage of them. One advantage living in Las Vegas is you don't have to pay state taxes. As it was mention in the video .They get you in other ways
I'm former Las Vegas resident. It's very to get to your job . If your working in one of the big hotels on the strip. Due to traffic and tourism. I didn't own a vehicle while while l lived in Las Vegas . Sometimes it's very hard to get home on the public bus on the strip . Because the buses are over full with people. Sometimes l.will have three public buses pass me by because they where over full. In order to get a good paying job at one of the big hotels on the strip or Fremont Street. You had to join the union . Called culinary workers union. Pay $100 per month for union dues. What l did t appreciate was how they will boycott and demonstrate with the big hotels owners that wouldn't sign with . Business doesn't have the right to force themselves on another business .
That’s your fault! You just said there’s a freeway exit outside YOUR apartment and YOU keep missing the exit. That’s insane
Do these people ever get outside of summerlin? Big modern homes are in Henderson too. Did they look at McDonald’s highlands? Ascaya? Homes prices are ridiculous there just because it’s summerlin. The same builder same model home is $300,000 less in lake las Vegas than in summerlin. Crazy.
I would love to live in summerlin if I could afford it.
You sold me at baklava.
Overrated.😂
Nice Video! Can we expect any restaurants/Bars or grocery stores in the Reverence area?
Overrated.😂
Such beautiful ladies, including the lovely host!!!!
Thank you for another great video. Learning so much about Summerlin. Furniture will be arriving at my new house In Summerlin next week and looking forward to moving.

I was in Vegas a few months ago, the last time i was there was about 12 years ago. I absolutely noticed the lack of grass. Thats all i kept thinking was i need to see grass😅wheres the grass.
Funny that someone mentioned the weather. When I first moved to Las Vegas...I did not think the suburbs would have a huge difference in temps or climate. With Las Vegas sitting 2,000 feet above sea level, Summerlin sits 3,500 above sea level with areas as high as 4,400 ft above it. In the summertime, Summerlin is about 3-5 degrees cooler than Las Vegas. To me...107/109 to 112 is not much difference...it is still hot and you need a pool, shade or AC. However, in the winter...the difference can be 6-7 degrees and there is a huge difference between 34 (above freezing) and 27/29 degrees (below freezing) when you wake up as well as a high of 53 compared to 60. The difference is why Summerlin gets so much more graupel (what Las Vegas calls snow the majority of the time). I call Summerlin the "Polar Vortex" of the valley because while the rest of the valley gets into the 60's most days in Dec/Jan/Feb...Summerlin typically stays is in the low 50's and high 40's
How are you doing beautiful Olga I love summerlin have you ever been to mountains edge Comunnity
Let them know that 5 mos out of the year (not 3 mos) it will be hot. Also that most people hide in their houses and are generally not social. If you buy a home you will have renters in your neighborhood even if you live in an HOA. When they move here, if they dont have friends or family here, they will feel very isolated because neighbors do not get close generally to other neighbors unless you live here for over 10 years. Also if you have dogs, your neighbors will often have a tendency to call animal control on your dogs for barking inside or outside the home. (Yes!) Lots of karens out here. Homeless, not too bad in various parts of Vegas. Comparatively better than california! Limied number of jobs. Yes! Dont move here unless you have a job lined up. My husband and I moved here a few years back and after him sending out hundreds of resumes for 8 months, he finally got hired. It was really scary. I have never been that scared in my life to the point where we were considering getting food from a shelter to eat! And we own a home! Please, please dont move here unless you have a job lined up folks!
OK even though these videos two months old she still Out of her mind Trippin there’s no way you’re renting a three bedroom house for 1800 more like 26 or 2700
Viva las vegas is Shithole 😮
it's THE PLACE OF SUMMER OF LOVE
MAYBE I CAN SUGGEST ANOTHER WAY. TRUMP 2024 MAKE AMERICA SMART AGAIN!
I knew when you started with the Strip AND had the Arts District I would like this video. Most realtors & locals don’t know downtown neighborhoods in actual Las Vegas exist and like most locals…have no idea there are locals actually living on & around the Strip. I lived in a high rise off the Strip for 3 years (Turnberry Place) and loved it. Wanting a house again, we moved to my favorite area…the Vintage Vegas neighborhoods off Rancho….Rancho Circle, Rancho Bel Air, Rancho Nevada Estates, Scotch 80’s, Alta estates, McNeil Estates, etc. Like section 10, you get beautiful custom homes on huge lots with mature landscape and the option and security of guard gated communities as well where you don’t in Section 10. We just did not like the cookie cutter neighborhoods where all the homes look alike on tiny postage stamp lots in many of the areas you mentioned and the majority of all new builds today.
I just moved off the strip (you'll see in my next video) and we are neighbors now!
Anthem is better Summerlin is Far Far awy from everything
😂🇺🇸😂 The California & Californians moving in reference ha.... ;)
🇺🇸🌴🥂🍷🍻🍷🥂🌴🇺🇸 .....A unique & interesting take gr8 👍 info! I get the feeling Miss Moreno is Laci Cerrone's more serious down to earth cousin ha.....Though the points mentioned 4 folks like me sound like a plus especially the weather.....Might consider moving in the future.....From here in Baltimore & the mid-Atlantic region appreciate all info Moreno & team all check ✔️ ✅️.....
Las Vegas resident & native from 1988-2004. I do remember when Summerlin was just being built and there was no downtown area. It's fascinating to see how big it has grown now. I gather it is more expensive now. I remember homes going for for $250,000-$300,00 in the mid 1990s. It's nearly double or triple that now. Thanks for the tour.
Great video Olga.
fabulous overview!! 👏🏻👏🏻
HELLO--right now is not a good economy. I watched your entire video with an open mind, and I will say that in my opinion, as a resident, your perspective is not the perspective of typical residents.
This guy is a vibe 💯
SICK OF ALL THE TRASH FROM CA RUINING IT
I gotta have a beach nearby or im depressed.
30° would be freezing…
Precisely!
Love the video this state is definitely a contender to move to
Which state do you currently live?
I'm looking for a safe affordable part of Vegas where job opportunities are great at least good able to get Around without a car,,,, where should I look,,,???
Vegas is not known to be a walkable metro. There are a few places that match your criteria of job opportunities and walkability. Most notably is downtown (arts district going north until you hit freemont). The other option is living near a place like Downtown Summerlin or Tivoli Village. There's a few communities and apartment complexes bordering these areas so you could likely live, work, gym, grocery shop all within a walkable distance. You looking to move from out of state or do you have any experience with residential Vegas?
Seriously the wild life??!? You live in the desert.
This guy hates freedom and being wild. L takes
Thank you for this video
😀 You're Welcome
I'm from east LA so everything but the school district and food has been an upgrade. Even the worst schools in LA are better funded than the best schools in vegas. And im all for homeschool or hybrid schooling except my son is autistic and I'm not equipped to give him the education he needs. One thing i miss he had an amazing dedicated teacher in CA here shes not terrible but you can tell teacher is overwhelmed and not passionate about her job anymore.
The best thing about Vegas was the 80s there was a little over800,000 people here everybody stop moving here you screwed up your state live there
One of the best things about Las Vegas was we only had 836,000 people that lived here everybody stop moving here
Oh I’m so sorry that the older lady is so delusional that she thinks Vegas is family friendly I grew up here in the 1980s and 70s and even 60s yes but I was
Summerlin is just Vegas. Nothing different about it. Weather still sucks and has bad drivers just like the rest of the city.
Summerlin: pretty, pretentious, and not friendly. But, has a Whole foods.
Dang not friendly 🤔🥲
I took my third trip to Las Vegas September of 23 and I can attest to the heat part, during the day temperatures reached 103 and I couldn't wait for night time to hit but when it did it dropped to 75° and was still very hot, it didn't even have to be humid heat to start sweating either.
informative....thank you
Summerline reminds of Irvine CA
I can totally see that comparison.
DESERT irvine
Love to see more of Summerlin🤙🏽
HEAVEN ON EARTH
