Love this movie. It's a regular watch fav during the count down to Halloween. One of my favorite scenes is phone tree day.. Adore the house. Dream of making one in miniature so I can have one of my own.

What a beautiful movie pared with scriptures..and pointing out to those of us who believe god over them devil cops who seem to think they are doing the work of God... When they go get drunk after work or at home or at the officers ball who did the devil devour? He was lurking somewhere to find out who he could sink his teeth into..while we smoke our pottage and believe that God gave us those plants. Do they offer the drink offering to the most high God at the bar or the ball? Have any of them ever been properly warned about what alcohol is? Cop? Detective? Judge?

I love how Sandra says the things that matters most is belief and intention those are the things that matter most in the craft cause ingredients are just ingredients but if you dont believe in it it wont work as well

I love how she is totally honest. That the film makers gave her a script that she was totally honest. This is the first film I remember at 57 years old that depicted witchcraft as something else from others prejudice. X

As I traverse this realm from a Buddhist home to dabbling in astrology to reading the Vedas and the Bible, I’ve come to conclude that we’re all children’s of childrens; that we know almost nothing of our origins and endings. That stories from one belief can twig and branch out to another if we can only have the will and faith to follow and know, that the divine is good and we’re all here to learn. No road leads to heaven, no road leads to hell, but the mind makes the next dwelling we’ll reside in as it has made for our present.
