Hello. My name is Wanda. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. You may not even see this comment. But, I wanted to leave it just in case. Today, I was about to watch someone color in one of these books. So I searched for flip throughs of her books and your video came up. Thank you for doing this video with all her books. I loved your artwork. You are extremely talented. Questions: my favorite was the one with the acrylic paint. I know it doesn't bleed through paper. Do you use a gel medium or Gesso before coloring? Do you do your backgrounds first? And since there is artwork on both pages, what do you use or than colored pencils? It seems like alcohol markers and water based markers would bleed through. Please! The depth of COLOUR in your foxes! Are you happy to reveal Manufacturer and Colour/Name reference the pencil that you use for foxes?

I would be happy to! I really love to use polychromos for foxes. I usually do a red-orange for my deeper color, then orange to blend out, and yello-orange to burnish and highlight.

I am guilty of full set syndrome! If it's something expensive I will save up and wait until I have enough to buy the full set rather than a smaller set that costs less! Especially when it comes to supplies, like sets of pencils, neocolor 2, etc. I don't know why I'm like this but I must have every color lol! And I don't give away books! I did give my son a few books and my set of Castle Art soft touch pencils, but it's different when it comes to my kids, ya know?!

Thank you for sharing this! It's so nice to be able to see all of these flip throughs in one video instead of having to search for a video for each book! The only thing I would like to suggest is maybe flipping through the pages a little slower. I was having a hard time pausing it before you flipped the page on many of the pages, and also there were times where I couldn't see the whole page because your hands were blocking it. But I do appreciate you sharing this video and taking the time and effort to make it!

Just bought it; but do you know what the subject is about? In some places I read they translated it as Weird Disease Encyclopedia…? Anyhoo. I bought it I like it and that’s that. Lol Thanks for your review! ❤️

Hey thanks for your comment! I think it must have a couple different translations then. Essentially the subject matter has to do with the topic of mental health. I need to translate the titles of each artwork sometime 😅. It's a really cool book and the paper is awesome. I'm glad you like it!

That was so cute to hear your son in the background saying, I wanna see! He sounds so precious! And I can totally relate to not coloring much in certain coloring books because I do the same with my Rooms of Wonder and Worlds of Wonder by Johanna Basford! I flip through the pages and I guess I'm just intimidated by them because I love them so much and I'm afraid I won't choose the right colors and mess it up! I've already messed up one page because of my color choices, so I unlocked a new fear in that moment! LOL! Also, if you did decide to color and send out some of those postcards, you could use a fixative spray on them, or probably even matte Mod Podge would work too! Anyway, thanks for sharing this video! I don't have any of Klara's coloring books YET but I am working on getting some!

Good idea about the Modge Podge! I'm curious if you ever ended up getting any of Klara's books! They are a bit of an investment for sure.

@@camillescoloringmania5744 Aw you're welcome sweetie! And yes, I did finally get one of Klara's books! I got Fairy Miracles because it was the cheapest one on her Etsy store, but it still ended up costing me almost $50! I normally wouldn't pay that much for a coloring book but I do think it was worth it! It's so beautiful, and you can tell just by looking at it that it's very high quality and very well made. It's definitely a treasure! And of course I haven't gotten up the courage to color in it yet! I keep it put up in my desk and it's wrapped up in the bubble wrap and packaging that Klara sent it in lol! I take it out and flip through the pages, but I am so afraid to color in it! It's not as easily replaced as most of my other books!

I purchased this after watching your video I must say this is very huge, and that thread is very beautiful, but I’m going to see if I can use the cotton thread same colors, I don’t understand the language, so I don’t know what it is saying

So sorry for just now getting to your comment! I am pretty sure you can use the same color threads in regular cotton because other kits I have purchased have had both options to choose from. I've started a different one with the silk thread and it's not as bad as I thought it would be although it is slightly more finicky than regular cotton. Good luck with your project! I'd love to hear how it is going.
