    Evnroll all the way…not only have I made more putts, they look great, feel great, are a bit cheaper then Cameron, and this guy in the videos claim about Evnroll having few builds in lefty is BS. If anyone slights lefties its Scotty Cameron who for sure offers less options for lefties.

    I get that this review is based of of stock offerings but comparing a rubber pistol grip to the ER gravity grip isn't apples to apples. I think this review would be better if you put comparable grips on the ER. Also, mallets will be easier to control IMO.

    This AZ course is so much different from my course in Mass. Looks like you don’t have any rough and fairways look wide w a lot of roll.

    exactly right, I also have a 4some ahead of me that will ignore me. I usually play by myself. If they continue to ignore me which are usually college kids I have to explain golf etiquette to them, they sometimes acknowledge the fact and apologize.

    If i ever get anyone waiting behind me, provided im not right behind the group in front of me ill let them play through. I play golf to relax and have fun. I dont understand why some people get so annoyed by other players

  • @bennettlewis5495
    @bennettlewis5495Ай бұрын

    Two recent experiences I had with "playing through". There was a foursome behind us, and my friend was new, so we were playing a little slow, but still keeping close enough to the group in front of us to not cause a problem . Two of the foursome behind us decided to jump from hole 3 to 5 while we were on 4. Now we had a twosome in front of us that we had to wait for, and a twosome behind us making my friend even more uncomfortable because they were always waiting for us. In addition, those jumpers seemed clueless that they just added another group on the course, making EVERYONE for the rest of the day have to wait 10 minutes longer. I know most golfers aren't "systems thinkers" and rarely consider the consequences of their actions on other people, but I hope after you play enough golf you eventually start learning that lesson. Another recent time, we were somewhat slow on hole 2 (a par 5), so the group behind us jumped to hole 3 (a par 3) because it was clear, even though we asked them not to. It was a twilight round, and because these arseholes jumped in front of us, we waited 15 minutes for them to finish the last hole, hunting for their balls, and we were unable to finish the last hole because it got too dark. They stole our last hole. So yeah, I've learned the hard way what a jerk move it is to ask to play through. It almost never is good etiquette to ask to play through. It's also pretty rare that jumping a group is a good thing for anyone but yourself, at everyone else's expense.

  • @bennettlewis5495
    @bennettlewis5495Ай бұрын

    Letting someone play through never solves the problem. Asking to play through is a lame habit of selfish golf bros that want to finish their round 10 minutes earlier. They are not "the nicest people ever". Nice people never ask to play through, and nice people never hit into the group in front of them. Since your (allegedly) slow group now has to wait for them to finish a hole, your slow group is still in front of everyone else behind you. Letting them play through fixed nothing for anyone else, and they selfishly took 10 minutes of your time for themselves. The only solution is to keep up with the group in front of you.

    My wife is a beginner and it was early in the morning so it was just another twosome

  • @bennettlewis5495
    @bennettlewis5495Ай бұрын

    @@gjeebsgolf Good point. The first few tee times of the day can be different, especially when they're not a foursome, and yeah, twosomes can really move first thing in the morning. But pretty much anytime later in the day, unless you're at a sparsely played country club, twosomes asking to play through is downright obnoxious. Most courses have bottlenecks where you end up waiting anyway. And there is a huge difference between asking to play through, and offering it to the group behind you. Offering is nice. Asking is almost always poor form. Also, joining up is a great solution, and tends to benefit everyone.

  • @76MUTiger
    @76MUTigerАй бұрын

    A group's mandate is to keep with the group in front of you. It's their obligation to the foursomes behind them. And yours as well. Task 1 is to catch up with the group in front of you. If you can't keep up, and you let them through, is another group right behind them? Nothing is gained. Keep up!

    So how is this Evnroll as a brands fault that you no longer like the hosel or grip anymore? I know for a fact they offer different heads, hosel options, weights, and grips. I'm a 1.4 and have moronic friends. Now we get it.

    The putter alone doesn’t really cut it buddy. A lot of factors goes into it, like the greens conditions, slopes, the kind of ball you’re using and the talent for it. Pros even miss a footer.

    Finally a lefty KZreadr.... It is so annoying that we don't have many putters to choose... I'm looking for a firmer putter to keep my consistent lag putting... (currently using a 20 year old ping g35i b60... It's my last club to update. I prefer something wide blade not too heavy. (Newport 2.5+ feels way too heavy).. Thinking about that new bb1 wide just coming out now..

    I had an Evnroll which I bought as my first high quality putter. If you really like it, I would say go for it. But Newport and Anser will just feel so much better, Evnroll is quite heavy. And if you are afraid of blade or toe hang putters, go with a mallet like Spider X.
