Great video and fantastic nature reserve, the mere hide is a fantastic place to film and photograph kingfishers. We had a bittern low flying over us as we walked along the riverbank.

having had and used both the EF 1.4x and EF 2.0x, I must say I was happier with the 1.4x version. Just little extension of the telephoto while preserving the sharpness and not taking a big hit on the aperture. Since I have converted over to the R series cameras, I am building my RF collection. Probably will trade my EF 100-400 for the RF 100-500 and later pick up the RF 1.4x.
@KGsPhotography27 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback I think you have it spot on re the difference between the converters. Your route to the 100-500 and 1.4x is exactly the same as mine and I have no regrets. Thanks Keith

I would not recommend you by this TC22 . I bought two and both had issues . The app has horizontal banding on the image ! Images downloaded to your phone however don't show the banding , so evidently the app has issues . One of TC22's stopped being able to video, giving about 5 seconds of video and then the image all scambled and the video stopped . I lost confidence and both . It is a real shame , on face value , they look well made , externally and briefly function properly . At £109.99 each , I nearly lost £220.00 ! They should have some longevity in them ! So Keith , be careful what your promoting and reviewing . In my experience , none of these Wildlife cameras are of any use . Until an established brand such as Sony , Nikon or Canon produce these , I Will not be spending my money on any unbranded wildlife cameras . I , fortunately got a full refund , after returning both of these cameras . Best wishes , Richard .

Hi Richard. Sorry to hear you have had problems. Unfortunately, the only thing I can do is give my experience, maybe I was lucky. I still have the camera and mine seems to be working fine so maybe there is a bad batch out there. Good that they at least gave you your money back. Thanks for the comment and good to get every view on things so that people can make an informed decision. Appreciate you supporting the channel and have a good weekend with lots of wildlife. Cheers Keith

@@KGsPhotography Hi thankyou well you have just answered my query I think they have gone then possibly and that's why I have only been seeing the Barn Owls recently at dusk overcast days because before I saw the short eared owls eveytime hunting.
