Fabulous Road trip . 👏✔️Good memories of Charles Shultz museum & ice rink & The Bohemian Grove .
YEARS AGO, We went on a Sunday drive from the Bay Area and stopped in Knights Landing for a soft drink. In the country store I saw some post cards so I bought one, filled it out and mailed it to my In laws as a joke knowing it would have a Knights Landing post mark. Yes, my MIL was confused. !
I grew up just outside of Knights Landing at the river garden farms headquarters I went through 6th grade there at Grafton Elementary which is now some kind of magnet school or something I'm sure someone in the comments will correct me on what it is now anyway beautiful little town great people loved it I served for about a year on the volunteer fire department there
That park was my favorite place for scenery. I would head over there to sit down on a bench to check out the sights I would ride the bus to the park just check out the scenery. check out some baseball games feed the ducks etc...

Beautiful there!! Do you have to call to reserve for sites? Thanks
One of the loveliest parks in the country. The surrounding neighborhoods are some of the most beautiful as well.
If only you could here birds "chirping" there now, . . . . It "used" to be a nice park (1960s).
It still is a great park. What do you mean by WAS a great park?
I remember that river being cold.
I love California history...great video!
Glad you enjoyed
Great but the rose garden and the outdoor theater was left out ☹️
And so were the baseball fields the land on the side of the zoo and the kid s playground The guy who made this video should ve did at least a 10 minute video to cover more of the park s features William Land Park and Reichmuth Park were 2 of my favorite spots to hang out Reichmuth Park is just down the road by William Land Park. Just head South for about 5 to 10 minutes by car then turn right on 43rd at the traffic lights Reichmuth Park is right across 7. 11 convenient store

Too bad it was grafton before knight ever set foot there.
It was a much bigger town years ago. Bank of America's branch there was # 2 in the state. It really started declining in the 60's. A lot of businesses closed. Thanks Kieth for the heads up!!
I drove through Knight’s Landing yesterday and was thinking what an interesting town.
I remember one of the tailors in the Bank of America lived out by us on Jewett Road out in Robbins California I believe her name was Sherry anyway yes I did a lot of banking there back in the day
