  Love this song and this eery, eclectic sound and beat. To think… they were so far ahead of their time in the late 70’s and 80’s. They were already creating their the “alternative” genre. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

  Inarguably, it has come to my knowledge that Fred, Kate & Cindy are the most solid front man in history. Never understood the band until this moment. So unique, so perfect... rhythms just make you want to shake.

  Many questions: Why black and white? This is obviously video tape and a professional recording crew. All video by this time was color. Why the focus on Fred? Cindy and Kate are the leads, and far more interesting to watch. How about showing more of Ricky's amazing guitar? Speaking of which, why isn't Ricky Wilson's guitar considered one of the greats? it's so unique and innovative. It really makes their sound. Lastly, Cindy Wilson, will you marry me?

  Hot damn! the vocals are amazing. The B52's wiki page says Keith Strickland was the lead vocalist. I BEG to differ. Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson are sharing lead vocals on nearly every song and Keith is punctuating them with a deadpan robot voice. So sick and tired of men taking the credit for everything.

  Oh my gosh, just the BEST BAND EVER! I never thought of them as punk. I just thought they were an extraterrestrial romp! SO fun, so eccentric playful, funny! Just like a bunch of overgrown kids amped on hormones. Silly, silly raucous creative, liberated party! I wanna be a B- 52!

  This was a scary good live performance! I would not want to perform after them on this night. Great song selection and sequence, amazing fun energy, and everybody was tight and on point like their lives depended on it! Amazing drums, guitar, vocals... I could go on and on. If there is a better live performance from them than this, then please post a link!

  You would jump off stage and call me over to dance while you played AND danced. I brought the b52s to you and we proceeded to change the music in the Boro. I was rhe band mom. Got yall ready every show and watched for dogs they might not be good for the group. Ha ha!!! That was so much fun!!! We danced and danced...because by then a kitten had made her daddy not feel good so the kitten "had to go". So I danced whenever I wanted. All I did was dance... 😂😊
