Hmmm, not very good for a self-driving system that uses 3D maps; Tesla FSD, a system that can drive over large areas that does not use 3D maps, looks much better for some reason. Tesla is evolving more and more these days, but even considering the version at the time this video was posted (beta11.4.9), it's not quite as good.

I have a 2019 Chev Bolt and I had the same issue just tapping my credit card yesterday. Communicated with car and then timed out. Tried 6 times on one charger then moved over to another charger beside when a person on it just left and it tried 2 times there but same thing and gave up. I did not know about the app. I did have a Flo card and there was one not too far away so I went there and no issue. Flo is cheaper as well. I will get the Petro App but I will only use it if there is nothing else availble. As my car is a slower fast charge, I would like to see a per KW charge and not this per min BS. Cheers

I think it did pretty well, didn't it? Those city situations look pretty damn hectic. I think there might be a weak spot in the front corners where two camera views intersect, and it goes from a full-camera on the front to a wide-angle camera on the side). Maybe that throws off depth perception. That black car was in that tricky spot the entire time while merging and on your dashboard it seems the car thinks it's further away than it really is. Then when it gets close it detects it properly and hits the breaks. I also recognize the annoying slowing down in curves too much from driving my European version (with way less advanced self-driving). There's a big update coming for the European version this month and they plan to roll out NGP for highways this year. XNGP next year. Anyway, really cool video to see. I hope you'll do another test in some time to see how it improves. I think they've just released XNGP China-wide? Try it out!

But this is in Europa, isn't it? Xpeng is rewriting the software to make it work as it does in China to understand the signs well... Not the software recognize vehicles, humans (even disguised policemen!), animals, ...) but not all the specific signs... In Europa the speed limit is changing with indications, which is quite never the case in China. Users adapt speed limit according to conditions, these are not traffic signs, which can give orders to all road users! It depends of the weather, the vehicles on the road and the tyres type and tyres wear level... So indications are more restrictive and not letting any part of creativity in Europa. Xpeng is adapting XNGP, even pretending they need to rewrite it for Europa, while only few things are different, but they are different from place to place... Even highways indications do not have the same colour in Switzerland and France, they are exactly the contrary, blue for highway in France, and green in Switzerland, but secondary roads are indicated with green traffic signs in France, and blue in Switzerland! The panels should communicate positively with vehicles and be humano-normed EJFJ since March 15th, 1996...

In order for supercharging to get faster would require more and more amperage and this means more heat.

Very very important is that, no worries about battery degradation or battery defective issues. Short term or long term. Nio car will have value. Remember, years back, mobile phones came with removable battery, if there was anything wrong with the battery, it was easy to replace it. Nowadays mobile phones are built in battery. I had to buy new mobile because the battery was loosing its charge faster and some almost didn't charge at all. The car with built in battery will face similar fate in near future, no one will dare buy a use EV cars, will lose value to zero. NIO is the best, because it's thinking about it's costumers or buyers. Surprisingly Most people are don't get it. Or maybe it's just the way it is. Stupid. I will never buy a EV if I don't have the option what NIO provides.
