Reagan/ Coolidge tax cuts only work if you have a modest military budget and dont spend trillions on war and beefing up the military, as Reagan and Bush discovered to the detriment of their fiscal legacy 🤷‍♂️

Buying a lock doesn't add wealth to your house. It prevents the wealth being taken away. Buying a lock and not gaining wealth from it is bettern than not buying it then lose it. Crypto is the lock against money printing.

yeah i mean berkshire/warren has over 100 billion in treasury bonds right now and plans to continue buying more in the coming months - says a lot about what he thinks about the economic environment. More than likely if we enter a recession you may not see returns like that elsewhere is his line of thinking, plus now bonds are at around 5% and at a historical high for recent decades - now it makes sense to buy bonds. But when you are looking at things like the nasdaq rising at ridiculous rates, it makes zero sense to not own stocks over bonds, unless the economy reaches a state where such gains will stop and things begin to crash and fall - which will probably be sometime soon. Also if the US goes into a bad recession now, the world is essentially in a worse recession at that point, especially when you look at many other world economies struggling and the US being a key vein/driver within all of this and being a reserve currency, you will be more than happy to be seeing such returns (which are pretty much guaranteed) on your money rather than losing a lot whilst inflation eats away at it's value at the same time, then you can hopefully reinvest some of that money when prices look good for well valued stocks once they are down a lot.

People worship this money hoarding cretin, when all is said and done Berkshire Hathaway will be shown to have contributed nothing to human knowledge and understanding of universe, only how to hedge and take control and make money number go up. Dude wouldn’t know what to do with all the money in the world, he knows only how to collect it…. Then he’s giving it to the other worlds biggest money pig with no taste Bill Gates. Wake up, this dude ain’t worthy of your admiration, he just gamed the system and keeps the secrets. Goldbricker

Yeah, but shareholders would have other investments, it wouldn't be their entire nest egg and the loss becomes a tax write off too. The average depositor in this bank had about $4 Million in their accounts, they still bailed out folks from Richistan. FDIC. Gov. and a little bit of Math. $174 Billion in assets divided by the 37,000 depositors that had more than $250K deposited, those below $250K are a small group and relatively insignificant since 93% of all deposits are above $250K . You look for some numbers and you do the math, pretty simple.

The markets are still doubtful that the Federal Reserve will keep to its plan to raise interest rates until inflation is under control, even if bond yields are rising while stock prices are falling. What is the greatest method to profit from the current bear market while I'm still deciding whether to sell my $401,000 worth of stocks?

Buying now overvalued stock could be a value investing as well because one year later it becomes undervalued due to much significantly larger economic spread inducing growth compared to the capital invested growth of the business.
