Nice one, thanks! I'd give up everything to be able to attend a BABYMETAL show at the freaking Budokan. At the time this was recorded during the 10 BABYMETAL Budokan shows, held to celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2021, it was impossible to travel to Japan due to the covid restrictions. I was given one of the masks provided by the organization the audience was wearing over their own mask at these shows. It means a lot to me. 🤘🦊

Good one! This is by far one of my favorite chill songs. Babymetal generally leans into the style of their collaboration artist, in this case, Polyphia. Great reaction ... and you surprised me with it being the Budokan 2021 performance, but I think you recorded this possibly just before they released the new live performance video from Fox_Fest. The song is from the 2019 album and Tim Henson and Scott LePage from the mainly instrumental Prog Rock band Polyphia recorded the original guitar tracks for the album version. Polyphia was one of the bands BABYMETAL invited to play at Fox_Fest and for the very first time Tim and Scott were able to join BABYMETAL on stage to perform this song live together. You may want to watch that video as well. Just a reminder on the line ups: 2010 to late 2017 Su, Yui and Moa 2018 Su and Moa plus two dancers (Muscle Metal) 2019 to April 1st 2023 Su and Moa plus any one of the Avengers (Riho, Kano and Momoko), but after about March 2020 Momoko was the last remaining Avenger ... so she did all 10 Budokan 2021 concerts as the Avenger. April 2nd 2023 on - Su, Moa and Momoko (now Momometal).

@@rickwagner- I was trying to keep it simple as the 5 were only for the Dark Night Carnival (which could be explained if she ever watches a video from that) and Saya alone was just for the last few shows of the year and I don't think I've ever seen any videos from those last few shows that might ever be reacted to.

Although i do like this version there's a better version they recently did at FOX_FEST Festival (the same show they did the live premiere of RATATATA along with Electric Callboy) and there's an official live MV which btw got the guitar collab of Tim Henson & Scott LePage from Polyphia and they're performing along with the girls for the first time. Not sure what you don't understand about the formation but this was in 2021 when Momoko Okazaki was still one of the three avengers part of this era, she became MomoMetal in April 2023 as an official member. Yes this older Version of this song just recently made headlines, since Tim and Scott had their first live performance with them. This song had from the begonning the problem, that it was a bit to soft. But you can simply hear Sus Age. And in my opinion she can sing a few Pop songs if she wants. I think thos is one of the ideas behind the Collabs. Yexperiment with different kinds of Songs.

I believe that this is a digital single release and is the only thing planned until the full album that is supposed to be coming in Sept/Oct. I think that t his song is much better than the others. This is more of a BABYMONSTER song since it fits the concept of the group. BABY = young, cute, fresh + MONSTER= fierce, sassy, empowered. So when you think about it, the song is so BABYMONSTER. People kept complaining that BABYMONSTER doesn't have their own identity and that YG should stop recycling from BLACKPINK and 2NE1. This song does that and also responds to those comments. The first 4 lines is translated like this: I got no worries on my mind I'm never gonna stop so you can say goodbye (Bye, bye, bye) I'll fulfill my fantasy, and you can watch and see Why don't you clap for me. In other words, talk all you want, we are still putting out hits. Ahyeon's line after that: She's unlike unlike anybody Here, there going crazy everywhere A.B.C.D.E.F.G. She's so naughty Gotta, gotta go, so c'est la vie Which when you hear native Koreans translate it it is more like this: We unique and everyone's making a lot of chaotic noise Then this line: A.B.C.D.E.F.G. She's so naughty Gotta, gotta go, so c'est la vie I'm rude because your so basic. Whatever, later. The song is cutesy but sassy so it is very BABYMONSTER.

when Ruka puts her hand out the cut right before I'm pretty sure is them switching from the arm camera to another camera to do the zoom in and out. its so cool. usually they have a giant arm that moves that's how you get the high and low shots also Ruka looks really hot in this video lol

So I think what they are doing is using light speed ramps, when she dances that fast to make it so snappy they did it in Aespas Black Mamba also... ya i cant un see it now, there using speed ramps for a few frames when they dance then throwing in the frame of light occasionally makes it even more punchy

Those outfits were introduced at their PIA Arena concerts on night 2 in April of last year. They were wearing them at every concert on tour, but the upkeep seems to be a pain, so now they are mostly worn for major Blu-ray concerts, music videos, and media appearances. They introduced a new more durable one for touring midway through the 2023 tour, and then a new outfit to replace that recently at this year's summer festivals in Europe that they are touring now, and still seem to be switching between this one and that.

Some info about Electric Callboy: They are a Metalcore/Electronicore band made of six Members. They were formed in 2010 in the city of Castrop-Rauxel in Germany under the name "Eskimo Callboy" and take themselves not too seriously ( but they take their music very seriously). After they learned that the word "Eskimo" can be seen as a derogatory name for Inuit and Yupik people of the Arctic they changed their name by replacing "Eskimo" with "Electric". They tend to create hilarious music videos which are almost all produced by the Schillo brothers (Pascal Schillo, a guitarist of the band and his brother Oliver Schillo (not a band member) who own a video production company). Most of their songs are about partying and having a good time, but they have some more serious stuff in their catalogue also. They blend Metalcore with EDM, Techno, Pop, Disco and sometimes even Rap music which lead to their very unique style that their fans call "Partycore". There are two main vocalists in the band: Nico Sallach (clean vocals) and Kevin Ratajczak (harsh vocals). Nico prefers the clean singing with his amazing voice and Kevin is more into the harsh vocals but both can do both vocal styles and back each other up if needed. If you'd like to check them out I would recommend "Hypa Hypa" ,"We got the Moves", "Pump it", "Spaceman", "Everytime we touch" (Cascada cover) or "Tekkno Train". For the more serious songs it would be "Hate/Love", "Parasite" or "Mindreader" .

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues. (including 3 shows in your state, Anaheim California) I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in KZread !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。

I believe that this is a digital single release and is the only thing planned until the full album that is supposed to be coming in Sept/Oct. I think that t his song is much better than the others. This is more of a BABYMONSTER song since it fits the concept of the group. BABY = young, cute, fresh + MONSTER= fierce, sassy, empowered. So when you think about it, the song is so BABYMONSTER. People kept complaining that BABYMONSTER doesn't have their own identity and that YG should stop recycling from BLACKPINK and 2NE1. This song does that and also responds to those comments. The first 4 lines is translated like this: I got no worries on my mind I'm never gonna stop so you can say goodbye (Bye, bye, bye) I'll fulfill my fantasy, and you can watch and see Why don't you clap for me. In other words, talk all you want, we are still putting out hits. Ahyeon's line after that: She's unlike unlike anybody Here, there going crazy everywhere A.B.C.D.E.F.G. She's so naughty Gotta, gotta go, so c'est la vie Which when you hear native Koreans translate it it is more like this: We unique and everyone's making a lot of chaotic noise Then this line: A.B.C.D.E.F.G. She's so naughty Gotta, gotta go, so c'est la vie I'm rude because your so basic. Whatever, later. The song is cutesy but sassy so it is very BABYMONSTER.

when Ruka puts her hand out the cut right before I'm pretty sure is them switching from the arm camera to another camera to do the zoom in and out. its so cool. usually they have a giant arm that moves that's how you get the high and low shots also Ruka looks really hot in this video lol
So I think what they are doing is using light speed ramps, when she dances that fast to make it so snappy they did it in Aespas Black Mamba also... ya i cant un see it now, there using speed ramps for a few frames when they dance then throwing in the frame of light occasionally makes it even more punchy

Those outfits were introduced at their PIA Arena concerts on night 2 in April of last year. They were wearing them at every concert on tour, but the upkeep seems to be a pain, so now they are mostly worn for major Blu-ray concerts, music videos, and media appearances. They introduced a new more durable one for touring midway through the 2023 tour, and then a new outfit to replace that recently at this year's summer festivals in Europe that they are touring now, and still seem to be switching between this one and that.

Some info about Electric Callboy: They are a Metalcore/Electronicore band made of six Members. They were formed in 2010 in the city of Castrop-Rauxel in Germany under the name "Eskimo Callboy" and take themselves not too seriously ( but they take their music very seriously). After they learned that the word "Eskimo" can be seen as a derogatory name for Inuit and Yupik people of the Arctic they changed their name by replacing "Eskimo" with "Electric". They tend to create hilarious music videos which are almost all produced by the Schillo brothers (Pascal Schillo, a guitarist of the band and his brother Oliver Schillo (not a band member) who own a video production company). Most of their songs are about partying and having a good time, but they have some more serious stuff in their catalogue also. They blend Metalcore with EDM, Techno, Pop, Disco and sometimes even Rap music which lead to their very unique style that their fans call "Partycore". There are two main vocalists in the band: Nico Sallach (clean vocals) and Kevin Ratajczak (harsh vocals). Nico prefers the clean singing with his amazing voice and Kevin is more into the harsh vocals but both can do both vocal styles and back each other up if needed. If you'd like to check them out I would recommend "Hypa Hypa" ,"We got the Moves", "Pump it", "Spaceman", "Everytime we touch" (Cascada cover) or "Tekkno Train". For the more serious songs it would be "Hate/Love", "Parasite" or "Mindreader" .

Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues. (including 3 shows in your state, Anaheim California) I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (then group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in KZread !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。
