  I would not recommend to cast over people’s shoulders and then continue to fish in their literal face like you did many times throughout your 14 min video. If you did that to me I woulda cut ur line I also recommend fishing flyline when the captain/crew says to do so. Good luck next time bud try to be more respectful

  It’s a sportboat man get used to it. I was on the trip in the video and it was never an issue. People like you getting prissy over small shit cause the problems. Take ur negativity somewhere else

  They call vermillion rockfish in California "red snapper". Fish get their names based on regional preference.

  Need to learn a bit about line control while coming off the reel. You constantly have these loops of line on the reel as your paying it out.

  Agreed! Grateful for what I caught :) I didn't release it because Noone else did and I didn't know if it would be my only fish on the boat (it was 5 pounds though).

  FYI- we don’t have red snapper in California, those fish are called Vermillion red rockfish. Snapper is not even close to the same species. Also, cow cod are illegal to keep and you have to have a descending device and out them back down at whatever depth you hooked them at.

  Yes! We had a decending device and they were already fading when they got up. I don't know why you can't keep them when they are already dieng 🤔
