Johnny was a jerk, a real bully in the first movie. But in this series it's hard to side with his son or Daniel. The son is really aggressive towards Johnny. Miguel and Johnny are the ones you empathize with. Not just because the story is centered on them, but because they are likeable. They are the best part of this show.
"Want me to flash my bits? That'll cost you extra." Johnny shuts that down quick😂. Also this is how an Alpha Male from the 80's would interact with people if he time traveled to today.
